Not me trying to dine here in the morning when they weren’t even open yet. I was looking for a place to eat and their door was open so I walked in thinking they were taking diners. They were setting up for the day.

I ended up walking by after my tour had finished and as luck would have it, there was a free seat overlooking the action in the kitchen.

After checking out the menu, I decided to get the 6 course tasting option. The dishes I was given were all delicious. It started with a soup then followed with seafood dishes, followed by a pork dish and ended with one dessert. It was just the right amount of food to get me through the day. My dinners were all scheduled late in the evening.

Can say enough how good the service was. I always find it interesting to see the whole staff prep everything. Chef Freitas was such s great leader. I noticed her take the time to show and explain to her staff how to properly prepare whatever it was she was working on. It looked like a stress free zone despite the fast pace.

I've just had the most delicious meat dish and dessert. The staff is wonderful and the atmosphere is perfect. I'll definitely be coming back!

The food was exquisite - creative Spanish food. Our top pick was: the eggplant, the Burger, the empanada. Only problem is, we felt like we were being rushed, the plates came out way too fast and were « done eating » in 45 mins. The waiter told us 3 times that we had to be out of the restaurant by 3pm, not very considerate if you ask me :)

I had the six course set lunch. One of the best meals I have ever enjoyed. Everything prepared with care, creativity and conviction. It helped me to better understand the region and the beauty of Galician produce. As well as the good food, perhaps the best restaurant service I have ever experienced. Thank you Lume and Lucia! I will remember this forever.

A casual place with excellent food, great service, and a very creative chef! We enjoyed percebes, which was a real treat, the ribs were excellent, literally everything was great food for the cost - excellent value. We did not try their famous burger, though from its appearance is quite rich. The server enhanced the experience and made it more memorable.
