Our recent visit to Lobito del Mar was an exceptional culinary experience that exceeded our expectations. Situated on the Golden Mile, this restaurant, led by chef Dani Garcia, offers a blend of traditional Spanish flavors with an innovative flair.

From the moment we entered, the lively ambiance set the stage for what was to come. We were seated in the private dining room with a mesmerising view of the chef's kitchen, where we could observe the culinary magic unfolding.

Our evening began with a delightful gazpacho, a refreshing starter that perfectly set the tone for the dinner. The tableside preparation of guacamole with baby shrimps was both entertaining and delicious.

We then enjoyed the fried calamari, which was perfectly seasoned and delivered a satisfying crunch with every bite. The anchovies omelet with caramelized onions was an unexpected delight, offering a rich blend of flavors that balanced the savory and sweet notes beautifully.

The main courses were the true stars of the evening. The grilled tuna belly was cooked to perfection. We also indulged in two exquisite paellas: the classic seafood paella with its generous portions of fresh seafood and the black paella with monkfish, squid, and ink, which delivered a depth of flavor that left a lasting impression.

For dessert, we indulged in their homemade cheesecake, which was beautifully creamy and rich, providing a delightful contrast to the seafood dishes and serving as a refreshing palate cleanser. Not expensive given the freshness and variety of the food! Waitress has put a €50 bottle wine onto our bill (and this was the first time I actually looked at a bill in Marbella and got quite disappointed that such thing actually happens…

Had a fantastic evening again in my favorite fish restaurant in Marbella. Tuna here is the best I had anywhere… fatty tuna as carpaccio or as a steak. Loved the Spanish noodles and the creamy lobster rice as well. The food excellent service and atmosphere created a beautiful night out for us!

During my recent visit to LOBITO DEL MAR, I had an enjoyable experience that was elevated by the attentive service provided by our waiter. From the moment we were seated, they made sure we were comfortable, promptly took our orders, and checked in on us at just the right moments throughout the meal.

What stood out most was his genuine effort to ensure a pleasant dining experience. While still honing some aspects of the craft, it’s clear he has the potential to grow into a truly magnificent waiter. Their attentiveness, positive attitude, and eagerness to provide excellent service are commendable qualities that make them a valuable part of the team.

Overall, the service was more then solid, the ambiance was lovely, and the food was a highlight of the evening. I look forward to visiting again!
