Best meal we have had in Spain. We both had the daily special grilled octopus and it was fantastic! So of course we wanted to try dessert and we weren't disappointed.

We had a delicious lunch with wonderful service yesterday. We asked for a selection of starters (using Google translate) instead of a main course, which they were happy to do. The owner was proud to explain his croquettes and cold cream soup were family recipes from four generations ago. Portions are enormous, we had four starters between two and it was too much. Staff were friendly and happy for us to muddle along in terrible Spanish and gave us an English menu. There’s a bar area and a grander restaurant area, plus noodly jazz in the background.

Totally deserves the Michelin guide acknowledgement.  Had croquettes, mazamorra, Iberian pork and tuna.  Tuna was good but everything else was like the best version of that thing we had had! Unfortunately my phone was on night settings or something so photos don't do it justice.

Atmosphere was also very warm and friendly

Discovered only because of Google reviews and 100% worth it! Great service, wide smiles and top quality dishes. After a month in Spain, I believe I can state that they have best croquettas! It could easily and maybe should be main dish, not a starter.

We ate here due to an error in the sat nav on the way to the castle...but thank you sat nav. Parked outside &:asked for a table for two. Ambiance lovely, Spanish families with small children eating lunch, we were made very welcome. Food was Michelin listed & boy was it good. When we got the bill we were even more delighted, value for money is top drawer. Octopus, wild boar... delicious...
