We LOVED Casa Rubio so much that we could not wait to post this review partway into our anniversary trip through Spain. So far it has been our favorite restaurant in this beautiful country, and they have set a really high bar to beat!

The waitstaff were highly attentive and professional. We were able to enjoy our meal without being rushed, yet the staff was always quickly available whenever we wanted to order more or had other requests - like for bread to accompany the spectacular cod dish!

The top-notch food and service combined made this an incredible experience for us. We would not hesitate to return.

It's a nice restaurant with many local dishes. Service was great and quick. We sat outside. The staff was very friendly and they gave tips about local dishes. We ordered creamy cold tomato tapas and russian salad as starter. And as the main dish, we had oxtail. Everything was  delicious but not perfect. That's why I gave 4 stars.

I usually don’t write reviews, however this place deserved a special mention. The food was amazing, the atmosphere very cozy and welcoming and the service top notch. Our waiter, Lucas was spectacular, truly kind and attentive without making you feel uncomfortable even when asking about things not in the menu!

Best restaurant in Spain so far! Highly recommended.
