Gorgeous market in a stunning historic building.
This is not just a shopping market for locals but it’s an enjoyable eating market for visitors too.
It’s packed full of wonderful stalls displaying all sorts of food products, both wet and dry. As a photographer you will have a field day as it’s all very photogenic. There are plenty of tapas bars & counters all through the market, as well as immediately outside.
Definitely worth visiting- Food for your camera and your belly!

One of the beautiful market I've ever visited. It's easy to navigate using the Google map, the location is superb. In this market you can get almost all kind of fruits and vegetables, fish and seafood. Not forget to mention, the food galore your eyes can feast. It's amazing. Be advice come around 9 am would be just nice.

I loved this place. My taste buds were partying and my belly was rumbling.
Everything looks sooooo delicious! Local food, local products, insanely large variety of fruits, cold meats, olives, etc.
You stop in one of the shops, you order what is in front of you, they cook it and you enjoy it there and now!
MUST VISIT PLACE!
Just remember that it closes early (14:00).

We came here several times while on a self-guided cycling trip to Spain.   This market is quite large, busy, the seafood, spices, and fresh fruit and vegetable options were truly amazing.  Great for a snack or takeaway to cook at home.

Central market of Malaga. You can find variety of fish, meat, olives, vegies, etc. It is definitely worth a visit to understand the gastronomic varieties of Malaga. The cafes providing fresh sea fish skewers, grills, roast, fries, etc. are a must visit (if you are a fish lover) . The market is neat & clean. Not a big as Mercat De la Boqueria of Barcelona.
