Great place in ubeda with an affordable tasting menu. There is also a la carte menu.

By far this was my best meal in Spain. To hell with Michelin guides, come here if you want to understand olive oil and Spanish cuisine. And yes, I travelled through the provinces in the course of lunch.

Please be considerate and make reservations for your degustación well in advance.

Cozy and warm atmosphere, the staff were so friendly, I didn't quite get the wow effect from my dish, the wine was good though.

We phoned in our booking and Antonio has sufficient English to make it and easy process. The premises are laid out like a large dining car on a railway carriage. The portions are quite large and the waitress guided us towards sharing parts of the meal to avoid having more food than we could eat. The wine from Jaen was very palatable and reasonably priced. The pate (fois) starter was particularly excellent.
