A truly unique experience. Service was exceptional and the dishes were out of this world.

We returned to Alenda during our vacation in Asturias and the dishes were just as amazing as we remembered. Using only the freshest ingredients, the restaurant run by a young couple is definitely worth a visit.

We had a wonderful time at Alenda. The food was Asturian in character but with some delicious details. The merluza was the best we had by far and the oysters were amazing. I wish we lived in Asturias so we could eat here regularly!

Alenda, al lado de Villaviciosa, superó nuestras expectativas. Tal vez el local (alquilado) no sea lo mejor, pero han puesto de superó parte todo para que aparezca acogedor. 5 o 6 mesas en invierno, que en verano seguro amplían porque se atisba terracita allí detrás. Atendida la sala por Lola, entrañable, amable, ágil, pero haciendo sentir el “slow” necesario para disfrutar de la comida. Los platos para mí fueron una fiesta por la cantidad de mundo vegetal que contenían, muchos de su propia huerta, y los pescados (me aceptó un cambio por carne en cuanto lo sugerí, cosa que agradezco infinito) y también el postre, divertido. Comimos de maravilla en un entorno estupendo. Animo a esta pareja que lo está haciendo tan bien, con tanta generosidad y tanta honradez!!!

Alenda, next to Villaviciosa, exceeded our expectations. Maybe the (rented) place is not the best, but they have gone above and beyond to make it appear cozy. 5 or 6 tables in winter, which are sure to expand in summer because you can see a little terrace behind there. The room was attended by Lola, endearing, friendly, agile, but making you feel the “slow” necessary to enjoy the food. The dishes for me were a feast due to the amount of plant life they contained, many from their own garden, and the fish (he accepted a change for meat as soon as I suggested it, which I am infinitely grateful for) and also the dessert, which was fun. We had a wonderful meal in a great setting. I encourage this couple who are doing so well, with so much generosity and so much honesty!!!

Iñaki y Lola nos han dado una experiencia para recordar y sobretodo repetir. Además de ser encantadores y dar un servicio estupendo, el menú era super original, con platos muy frescos, de calidad y que estaban increíbles. Lo recomendaremos a todo el mundo. Y desde luego repetiremos.

Degustamos el denominado menú Rodiles y resultó excelente en cuanto a la secuencia y los pases. Fueron seis platos, una cortesía de mantequilla con limón de la zona y un postre a base de chocolate, toffe y café. Todos los platos muy correctos y destacaríamos las setas con yema de huevo a baja temperatura, los chipirones “afogaos” y la Pannacotta. Buen detalle la opción alternativa al solomillo de otro pescado, en este caso cabra y la invitación a una copa de vino y a la infusión.

We tasted the so-called Rodiles menu and it was excellent in terms of the sequence and the passes. There were six dishes, a courtesy of butter with local lemon and a dessert based on chocolate, toffee and coffee. All the dishes were very good and we would highlight the mushrooms with low-temperature egg yolk, the “afogaos” squid and the Pannacotta. A good detail is the alternative option to the sirloin of another fish, in this case goat, and the invitation to a glass of wine and infusion.
