This place was excellent! We found this restaurant down a side street from the old town and I’m so glad we did. A real gem! It’s more of a basic, canteen style place with a smaller menu and selection of specials. The food was absolutely delicious- really fresh, simple, unpretentious and very flavourful. Although I enjoyed everything we ordered, the garlic butter scallops and huge t-bone steak really stood out to me.

The atmosphere was also great. We started eating around 7pm when it was a bit more quiet but it was full and lively with people chatting, eating and drinking around the bar area by 8pm.

I will definitely come back here- this is probably the best meal I’ve had in Menorca in several years!

Delicious tapas, great value, friendly atmosphere. It does get busy, so would recommend coming when they open. Scallops and squid were particular highlights, saw many orders of the octopus pass by that looked amazing. Pork leg was tender and nicely seasoned too.

A wait of around 50 minutes outside was definitely worth it. This place is serving some of the freshest, best quality seafood around! The scallops are a must-try, along with the wonderful steamed mussels and famous pulpo (octopus). Service is kind and fast, although it is quite a hectic and chaotic experience with huge crowds of people waiting outside and at the bar - but it’s lively and fun!

Had this place saved in my “to go places” to eat.
When checking restaurants or bars to have lunch make sure to check their timings as some restaurants will close kitchen around 3:00/3:30pm and will re-open in the evening for dinner time.

We got there in time to be served and had some tapas although they have main meals as well.
Very tasty and home made food.

Very packed inside and outside as it it a very small place, make sure to always keep checking with the waiter/waitress and be patient.
