We had the most amazing stay at Cristine Bedfor. The interior design is beautiful throughout, and our double room was amazing. Very comfortable bed, great air con, kept super clean and tidy. However, the best thing about the experience by far was the staff who made our stay exceptional. Everyone went out of their way to make us feel special, providing amazing service throughout. The staff succeeded in making the hotel feel like a home from home - a huge thank you to the team.

I hope to come back again soon!

The location is unmatched if you want to be in the Old Town. The woman who checked us in was amazing, enthusiastic and gave us the history of the hotel, the design, and the island. They were very generous to us with early check in and late check out. We stayed in one of the suites and it was amazing. There was a huge private terrace with an outdoor shower. The pool is also very cool. We didn’t really eat much at the hotel but I can say the burger is delicious.

Parking is easy (15E/night) and directly across from the hotel.

We had a wonderful 7 night stay at Cristine Bedfor. The guesthouse is in a perfect location to explore the old town from, and is surprisingly quiet considering how close to the centre of things.
Staff were keen to do everything to make our stay special. Garage parking was organised just along the street for us, beach towels and umbrella were loaned to us for days out, and suggestions for places to eat and to visit were given only when we asked. Nothing was pushed and we felt comfortable lounging around the hotel and lovely garden at all times.
The restaurant offered a great Mediterranean breakfast and is listed in the Michelin Guide, so we knew we would enjoy a fabulous meal on the evenings that we ate there. Sea bass followed by Cristine’s chocolate cake was a perfect meal, but I must mention the most delicious freshly baked bread that was served with local butter and Menorca salt. A simple thing done beautifully.
The guesthouse has been created from several houses that are now connected in a creative and warren-like way, with unexpected decorative elements and beautiful stone staircases. It has a very welcoming feel and there are several rooms where you can settle with friends and feel completely at home with a drink a book, or a board game.
Our room, 28, was spacious and pretty, with an enormous bed, comfy sofa, and the best (silent) AC unit I’ve used. Three tall windows looked out to the rear of the site, over the restaurant, and you might imagine that’d make for a noisy night, but it didn’t.
The en suite was small but well laid out with everything that was needed. The hair dryer was particularly good.
I’d love to say that the room was perfect, but I really missed having a full length mirror and, more so, a place to hang dresses. Even my skirts had to be folded. The  hanging storage was only tall enough for shirts and jackets and was open, as is quite common in hotels, now.  It looked basic compared to other, more creative furnishings and seemed like an afterthought in such a lovely space. I’m sure this could, and will be, improved upon. Every room in the hotel is unique, so this difficulty may only apply to this room.
In any case, our time at Cristine Bedford was lovely and I hope we’ll return.
