Went for an “easy Sunday e-bike ride up to the castle and was in no case easy. If you do try it use an e-bike or just drive up to the top. Views though are spectacular and the museum and history of Palma of very interesting. It is also free on a Sunday so that is great day to go!!!

If you’re staying in Palma, this is an ideal destination for a morning walk. It’s quite uphill but manageable. The entrance is about four euros, but it is a beautiful and interesting place to visit with great views of the sea and the city below.

I found it extra interesting to see how they have protected the entrances such that the moat protrudes in front of the entrances so that the enemy could not amass in front of the doors. 🎖️
