Spectacular hotel. It takes you back into a time of Nobel service, severe privacy and top notch food quality.
It’s unlike any hotel you’ve seen before. The architect could probably fulfill a lifetime dream and anyone who is into architecture will be stunned.

I recently stayed here for four nights as part of a longer trip during which we stayed at several luxury brand name hotels (Four Seasons, Aman, Belmond). This was the best hotel that we stayed at out of all of them while also being the most reasonably priced. The hotel is breathtakingly beautiful and has wonderful views, but by far the most outstanding part of our stay was the service.

1. On our first morning at the hotel, I was greeted in the lobby by a man who told me that unfortunately my car had a flat tire. Not only had they noticed this several hours before I woke up, but they had already called the rental car company and had them patch the hole / refill the tire. Instead of our first day in Mallorca being ruined by hours of delay, we were blown away by Son Net's service. Whenever I needed my car (which you will to get anywhere, as Son Net is up quite a long private driveway) they had it pulled around in seconds and always with fresh bottles of water for us in the cup holders. It was unbelievable.

2. Breakfast here was the best of anywhere on our trip and the view from the terrace is beautiful. We didn't get a chance to have dinner here, but the hotel bar was lively until roughly 1am and a lot of fun.

3. The rooms were beautifully decorated. At first I thought the furnishings must have been incredibly old because of the detail and craftsmanship, but then I noticed new touches such as USB-C connections on the nightstands and modern bathroom fixtures. Really incredible, but I will mention that ours was quite small.

4. There's a lot of hype about towns like Deia and Soller but the town of Puigpunyent I found much more authentic and charming. There are locals having wine and dinner outside in the town center until late in the evening, which I didn't really see anywhere else in the big tourist towns.

5. I thought I'd find the dress code a silly and stuffy but everyone just looked nice and it wasn't a big deal to not wear shorts after 8pm. I went to breakfast most morning in a t-shirt and shorts and nobody looked at me funny.

6. The concierge staff had excellent recommendations on which calas/beaches to visit (and which to avoid). They saved us lots of time and energy.

Very small nitpicks:

1. We booked via Amex so should've been eligible for a free upgrade. They told us that there was an upgrade available but unfortunately it was THREE levels higher than our booked room and this program apparently only covers TWO upgrade levels. This seems kind of arbitrary and when I offered to pay for a 1-level upgrade they said that this wouldn't be possible and I'd have to pay the full sticker price of a triple upgrade. Our room was beautiful, but sure would've been nice to have a slightly large one if it was vacant anyways.

2. The weather was ok so this wasn't much of a problem but the AC unit in our room was clearly for placebo effect only. I had it set to 7 degrees for the entire length of our stay but didn't feel any cool air coming from the vents and slept on top of the covers each night.

3. We were the youngest people here by maybe ~15-20 years but that of course isn't the fault of the hotel.

Attended for a wedding and this place is stunning. The upholstery and interior decor oozes style, class and authentic Spanish design (although a little dark in places) and the gardens are perfectly serene with lots of little places to explore and sit peacefully and enjoy the surrounding views and tranquility. The staff are attentive yet friendly and without fault.

We stayed at a pool cottage suite and it was so incredible! Everything is newly and very tastefully renovated, and all the staff were super friendly and attentive. In love with every single detail they added in their interiors. Definitely coming back!!
