This place was truly just what I needed .the staff and atmosphere and friendliness  was amazing .the age gap and nationality wasn't an issue as everyone just got along .I had a mixed room and for aged 56 my first time in a hostel it was so respectful .I'd like to mention Alfonsina for her management skills she was so amenable and my roomy victor .also to catreal who will be a wonderful housewife ( my spelling is not correct) .these were my main contacts.it was clean and has the best atmosphere any person  could wish for.it I never felt out of place.Although the beaches were closed and my ( loveholidays )never informed of booking in on line ) I arrived at midnight not aware  but victor gave me a great welcome sorted it all out even with a language  barrier. We had a wonderful BBQ the night before I left and I felt truly honoured to be a part of an amazing community .thank you everyone for any input to my stay.and to the owners for picking thier staff so well.the only gripe I had on arrival was not being able to lock my drawer it was broken .but as it turned out everyone so so trustworthy unlike other places . The kitchen was well eqiped i needed nothing.Next year the special people I met on my  travels will visit other nests but this one will always be special .thank you everyone for 2 weeks of bliss  you made it the best memory that iwill always cherish .

Really Nice place to stay! Thanks a lot to the volunteers that are doing an amazing job. Everything is really clean and people are really friendly. It feels great to be there. The roof top is a must as the breakfast where so much stuff are home made! Love the bread especially! Definitely recommend!

Overall a good hostel with a nice rooftop terrace and very close to a beautiful beach.
I’d have to agree with one of the other reviewers here that the management and furniture choices of the hostel need some improving. Lamp in my dorm wasn’t working, I was unable to store my luggage in the box under the bed as the box couldn’t be taken out. They didn’t provide any locks anyways. The bunk beds are the simplest on the market e.g. not great - you feel every movement of the person sleaping above you. Not enough shelf space next to the bed.

It was a bit odd for a 30 year old guy to share a dorm (6-bed) with women in their 70s, 50s and 40s, which is what happened to me. Also I was a bit concerned about the security - the entrance door stays open during the day and anyone can come in and then enter the rooms.
Also I’d prefer to pay a little less and sort out my own breakfast, the one provided wasn’t great, especially for a vegetarian.
The staff are friendly of course.

I had a wonderful stay at this hostel. The hostel is small and has a beautiful terrace with sea view. The breakfast is amazing. Staff was also very friendly and the women's dorm had its own bathroom which I appreciated a lot. Thank you very much for this good experience!

One of the best hostels I've stayed at! The staff were so welcoming and lovely and created a great atmosphere. There were so many fun activities like a movie night and game night. The facilities were always very clean and the hostel has a great rooftop with a view of the ocean on one side and the Teide on the other. Would absolutely go back!!!
