Best lunch we've had in Spain. Beautiful decorations, great service, and wonderful food. Suckling pig was so delightful to enjoy with such delicacy. It's so succulent, tender and juicy. Not salty or fatty at all. After learning how it was cooked and the family owns a pig farm and an important supplier to many top rated restaurants in Madrid, we definitely made the right choice. The gazpacho was a surprise order. It's so refreshing to eat and you just want more of it. The salad looks simply but it's so fresh and carefully picked with sweet tomatoes. Oh I just love the fresh Spanish tomatoes. I would purposely visit Segovia again just to have this restaurant's food as it's definitely top notched and could beat any place in Madrid by miles.

This is the best restaurant in town. Usually there is a wait. Here is a little trick if you speak Spanish, enter the restaurant via the back alley- which btw. Gets you to the back room tap room- a bar away from the restate here you can have a drink from there go to the main dining room and ask the waiter to take you to the host. He host usually gets you ahead of the waiting crowd. Food is really good and worth the price. Portions are big. Wine list is expansive and decently priced. Two people with wine can walk out between 75-100 Euros. Piglets  are brought whole and chopped up table side. This is a great option in a town where there are some tourist traps. The wife of the former King also dined here. The current location was opened in 1931. Be try charming and great food. Service was not the best, our waiter was short, abrupt and at times a bit slow.

We came here during our trip to Segovia for their famous roasted sucking pig, and it did not let us down. With amazing food and superb service, it’s is such an experience than just a meal. All dishes were great and the pig was so good. Its crispy on the outside and tender inside, very tasty and juicy. Also the service were really great. I missed the first time when they were cutting the pig. And I asked our server if he could let me know for the next one because I really wanted to take a photo. He not only let me know when the next one came, he brought the pig to my table and every other table in the room for us to take the picture. A must try for tourists!

Wonderful and tasty lunch! We got the the set menu that comes with wine tasting! A white and a red. Dishes may seem simple, but they are so well prepared with high quality ingredients. And of course- the wine is of great quality. Make reservations in advance - when we went it was packed! Lots of tourists yes, but it was still good. See pictures for what we ate.

What an experience! This is the most Spanish feeling restaurant I’ve been to surprisingly enough given the ambience. The tradition of the cochinillo holds strong, cutting with the plates. The lamb looked amazing too.

We enjoyed our cochinillo - the skin an amazing crunch in flavorful broth and delicious fries we ordered it with. Our waiter was friendly and funny as well as informative.
