So was in Barcelona for a few nights and we had one day that was stacked for foodie moments which I dubbed "Michelin Day" since we were hitting up tickets and disfrutar. I wanted to have a "low key" dinner prior to the feasting beginning so did a quick search to find Acces as a solid reviewed joint with a great tasting menu deal as well. I made a reservation via their website and we made our way over right on time. The joint itself has a funky interior vibe to it where it balances a modern feel with some "funky" vibe to it with strong color accents and hanging bulbs. They also have an open kitchen type style which is blocked off by a glass wall so that you can see the preparation of the food happening. The servers were all extremely friendly at the restaurant and spent time joking with us as well which I appreciated and immediately put us at ease. The menu is comprised of starters, fish, meat, rice & pasta, and various side dishes. As mentioned the team here offers a tasting menu which provides an amouse bouche, four courses and two desserts which definitely is the best "Bang for the buck". We asked the waiter and they said the menu highlights all the crowd pleasers so given the price point of just 55 euros and the amount of food, it was a no brainer to go with this. The drink menu is well stocked and they have mcallan on hand which is where I spent most of my liquid calories on. The food comes out at a good clip and it started with a potato with truffle oil amouse bouche which was light and delicious without the truffle being overpowering. The next dish that came out was the Roast Beef with mustard ice cream which on the surface seemed quite strange but this dish was the highlight of the night for creativity and taste. The mustard ice cream was not overpowering and paired well with the healthy portion of roast beef. The next dish out was scallops over a bed of potato. Each scallop was prepared well and not overcooked to reach a "rubbery texture" so it was well appreciated. The next dish was a delicate piece of fish in a broth like texture. I thought this was good but tasted a bit off to me. The fish was cooked well but the stew itself did not seem like a great pairing so probably my least favorite dish. The next dish out was the suckling pig with an apple puree which was quite tasty and cooked well although I imagine it would be hard to screw this dish up. The skin was crispy and the meat cooked well with a good fattiness to the meat. After this, the two desserts were brought out both which were good but not quite memorable with the chocolate dish being a bit too rich for my taste. After wrapping up they brought the check over and this is a total nitpick but I was surprised to hear them ask for additional tip. It was not asked in a malicious or evil way and I was aware that tipping a bit at "nicer restaurants" is the norm but found it odd for them asking for a tip whereas disfrutar and tickets did no such thing. Just a minor nitpick but something to be cognizant of. With all this said, a solid place for a meal and a solid meal for the pricing of it. Definitely worth a visit if you are looking for something that is in the middle of fancy and casual with good food.

Literally the best service and most accommodating staff. We had our wedding reception here last night and Fabian was more than helpful. Being our first time in Barcelona, they were able to help order flowers, steaming my wedding gown, suggesting places to visit... the whole nine yards. Chef Guerillmo did a fantastic job at bringing flavors together and even presentation. We had the opportunity to try the food during two nights and both did not disappoint. I would list all the best items .. but they ALL were phenomenal! My friends from Barcelona were surprised that I found this gem! We will always visit every time we're in town.

I had the best steak I've ever had in my entire life at this restaurant while visiting Barcelona. It was the Filet de bou amb gratén de patates i salsa de múrgules, Solomillo de buey con gratén de patatas y salsa de colmenillas . I highly recommend this place! Delicious and perfect.

I want to like The restaurant -walked in without a reservation as it is our 2nd last night and wanted to get some paella and yelp had raving reviews on Sensi. Ambience was nice and cozy. Loved It. Restaurant was very full when we walked in at around 10:30. That was a good sign. We ordered based on the server's recommendation. The mussels we ordered were lukewarm and was super salty (double strike!) The ravioli was ok but not great. The pork tataki was a standout - was cooked perfectly and very flavorful! The small seafood paella was not dry, but only come with 1 shrimp and 1 mussel. We sat at the bar and we saw the team worked really hard but seemed like the place over-committed. Has a lot of dirty dishes piling up the bar area, along with dirty stemware. Awkward!

If you're looking for a restaurant that really wows... this is your place in Barcelona! The food here is a far cry from the standard Barcelona tapas restaurant menu -- which is certainly delicious, but can get a bit repetitive after awhile. The menu at Acces is creative, imaginative... and the flavors are fantastic! We started our gustatory journey with the inventive (and super delicious) roast beef with mustard ice cream and the warm and wonderful comté cheese and onion soup (which the chef split for us, so we could both enjoy it). I then followed with the lamb shoulder entrée, while my partner enjoyed the suckling pig. Both main courses were suggested by Fabien, the owner, and he did not steer us wrong. Simply divine. For dessert, the passion fruit cream, with peppermint and coconut foam capped our evening splendidly. I cannot say enough good things about Acces. The decor is sumptuous, but in a way that doesn't overpower the food or make you feel like you're stuck in a stage set. The restaurant was completely full the entire time we were there, but the dining room is set up nicely, so you don't feel like you're dining on top of the people at the next table. Finally, I must thank Fabien again for fitting us in on a very busy Saturday night, given that we showed up -- like rubes -- without making a reservation. He and his staff could not have been nicer or more professional and accommodating, considering the last-minute request for a table. We were so fortunate there was a cancellation and the stars aligned for us. We will be back -- but next time, will call ahead!

food was solid and everything was great. service was a little stretched out but i later found out that its just a thing in spain/culture. they also seemed short staffed but again i think later i discovered this is just the norm everything was cooked great and i highly recommend the chocolate lava cake. its different than the ones in the US, you can tell this was hand made. place has the vibe of a 90's dance club the thing that REALLY put me off is that at the end i was asked how much tip would i like to add and then they corrected and said, IF you choose to leave a tip. i thought it was very rude and pretentious esp when we know that tipping isn't as big part of europe as in the us. ive read from different sources that 5% if its amazing service as most are paid a full wage in spain at least. Celery root was a bit strong and scallops lacked flavor with only moderate sear Not so good: octopus entree. Octopus was chewy and lacked flavor. Beautiful but not worth it Overall, I would come back as the value is good but would be more selective in my Choices

Phenomenal food. The chef/owner came around to check on us and the other diners. Don't be put off by the decor, which strikes me as a bit 80s-inspired. It was perfect for our dinner. It also has a bar up front where one can wait until one's guests arrive.
