It was so hot we needed sangria and a snack to get out of the sun. They did not have AC but the fan was helpful and the ice cold sangria did the trick. Glad we found this spot. We had some tapas and relaxed at a high top table. Super cute. Very flavorful snacks. Large ice cold sangria. Glad we stopped by!

This was by far the best place we ate at in Barcelona. An incredible and non pretentious hole in the wall; the staff are genuine and helpful - Mira (sp?) in particular, helped us every night, but everyone here was great. It's one of the few spots that we went to that didn't feel like a tourist trap, and welcomed tourists and locals equally. The octopus Bomba was literally the best thing we ate in Barcelona. The Morcilla was creamy, rich and delicious. After trying many tapas spots around the city, we ended up here every night, and were happy we did!

Simple, classic, inexpensive. The house red is delicious, the Estrella Damm drafts are cold and fresh. Good tapas variety. Proprietress is a sweetheart. Ignore the nattering nabobs of negativity and stop in for a vintage style refresher and some laughs.

Awful experience!!! 1. Asked me for two orders of gamba because there were two gambas on the plate, but never asked me how many I wanted when I placed the order. 2. The change (4 Euros) was a mix of three one-euro and another coin looked like an euro. Btw, when I went to the rest room, I saw the cook coming out of toilette without washing hands!! Never never even think about go there again!

I really don't like giving one star, in fact I hate it. It means that something is broken in the relationship between the business and the customer. I came here with a groupon, and they were really nice to take us without reservation (the groupon said you had to book 48h in advance, and it was the last day, so I just went there with the groupon asking them if they would take us and they did). To be completely fair, the dinner was really nice and we were wishing to come back and give it a try. So we did. Food was really good, the vermuts were nice and service was on the spot. The problem came when we got the bill. They charge us one round more, and I am sure, as my wife and my colleague that was one less (my colleague had to live earlier so I contact him via whatsapp during the bill problem). The guys simply told us that there was no mistake from their part, the fault was on us and they were right. I am not going to business to steal a round of drinks, or to get food for free. I am going to have a good experience and that was an unpleasant one. I am not going back to this place and I hope it was just a bad day for them.

Enjoyed this place for a nice drinks and some patatas bravas! I got a nice glass of red wine and my friend got the Vermut (vermouth) which was great. The woman working was such a gem, so sweet! It's a smaller place, but also has an upstairs area! Definitely check this out for a more local feel!
