Lovely meal when visiting my sister in Barcelona! White table cloths, fancy vibe. It was very crowded so I recommend a reservation if you can make one.

Came here for my friends 21st with a large group-15 of us. Service was good. They are very attentive and helpful when questions were asked. But it was very weird when I asked the waitress to clear my plate after I was finished she said "not until everyone is done" odd. The reason for this poor review is that some dishes came out piping hot and some were like warm at best. This is my second time coming here and got the same this both times. The gnocchi sorrentina. The first time I got it it was way better than this time I ordered it. It came out cold. Also all the cream based dishes are rich as hell and are flavorless to be honest. Maybe because we were with a big group some dishes were off? Anyways I Wouldn't come back. Good for big groups though if you don't care about the food much. Als

Hidden gem in Barcelona. Came with a group of friends last minute while we were studying abroad a few years back (late review - I know!!). We literally mapped 'places to eat' and De Greco was the closest restaurant to us. It was a little tricky to find, as it is kind of hidden in an alley. I would've never known Da Greco was there! Although we had no reservation, the staff was very accommodating and kind to us! We were seated upstairs. Food was phenomenal and definitely an experience I'm going to remember for a lifetime. We each ordered something different so we can taste a variety of their dishes. The staff was SO kind and made sure we were taken care of. If I'm ever in Barcelona again, this is going to be the first place I go!

Da Greco is a family owned restaurant in both Barcelona and Marbella. The owner, Tony Greco and his son are the chefs at both locations. I highly recommend the quality food and reasonable prices. There is a large selection of wines as well. A friend and I recently visited both locations and thoroughly enjoyed the caprese salad, burrata, white truffle ravioli, pesto ravioli, carpaccio de bresaolo, and gnocchi.

Good Italian food in Barcelona. It's not to be missed if you want something besides amazing Spanish food. They charge $1 per piece of bread which is ridiculous. Service was good, minestrone was not. I liked the lasagna.

The brass hand handle intrigued us when we walked by Da Greco. When a doorknob is that special, we bookmarked the restaurant and made a reservation for lunch. It's an old school Italian restauant and the decor didn't disappoint.. We had high expectations for the food, but you know the saying "don't judge a book by it's cover"? Well that's exactly what we did.. Overall, the food was mediocre and even lacked flavor. I ordered the vegetable antipasto. It was basically squash, eggplant, sundried tomato soaked & eternally preserved in evoo. Pass! I also ordered the 3 pasta surprise dish. They served 3 different pastas and all of it was just mediocre. Pass! We also ordered the daily special which consisted of a pate, pasta, and roast beef. We were surprised the beef was so small - it was just 2 thin slivers of meat on a plate served with dijon mustard. Prices weren't bad... Maybe we just chose the wrong dishes?

This deserves 10 stars. The best Italian food outside of Italy period and if it was in Italy it would still be one of the best restaurants. Not only is the food amazing, but the rooms are beautiful and the service was amazing. I could go on and on, but do yourself a favor and go see it for yourself. Thank you for the most amazing experience, dinner and evening.

OMG - 2 plates you cannot leave Barcelona without having : Parmesan risotto and Pasta puttanesca from Da Greco. Such simple dishes just elevated to next level. Very yummy :)

This place was recommended to us by several Americans. The decor is lovely, the service was attentive and the menu was creative. Classic Italian- a good break when you want something different in Spain. Everything was comfortable and familiar but we didn't find the food exceptional for the price. If you are a American student or tourist want something to remind you of home, this would be a good place.

While studying in Florence I came to visit my friend in Barcelona. She was raving about this place from the moment i arrived so we made a reservation and decided to go. We brought 8 people because it is a perfect place for large parties!! The pastas are the best. They are famous for their truffle ravioli but I think it is a literal overrated. The Porcini mushroom ravioli and gnocchi were just as good if not better. The best part about De Greco is the sharing plates and BYOB!!! The US needs a restaurant like this. You can bring as much of you own alcohol as you want and they will serve it to you in ice buckets free of charge. Also, for every pasta ordered, they will bring out another serving for the table to share and try. So I ended up having my own pasta and then 8 others to share. I would have given this place 5 stars but I didn't try enough of the other dishes (besides pasta) to know if they were worth the price. The service was also just okay. Overall very yummy and well priced though. I will come back when I visit Barca again.
