Värsta servicen någonsin! Vi gick in och stod där utan att välkomna och ingen aning om vi skulle vänta på att sätta oss eller hitta en egen plats. Efter 5 - 10 minuters arbete gick förbi oss utan att säga något satte vi oss. Vi satt där i ytterligare 10 minuter innan någon kom med menyer till oss. Efter 30 minuters väntan på att någon skulle ta en kaffe- eller drinkbeställning eller något vi just lämnat. Jag försökte fråga servitrisen om vi kunde lägga in vår beställning och hon bara gick därifrån. Det var ungefär ytterligare 3 - 4 bord alla sitter där frustrerade och berättade för oss att de skulle lämna till eftersom ingen hjälpte någon. Midja inte din tid.

Det finns ingen engelsk meny och ägaren hade begränsad engelska vilket är konstigt när det rekommenderades på en "Time Out" -karta över Barcelona. Det finns några förskapade skålar du kan välja mellan, spannmålens namn är universella men använd google translate om du kämpar. ("leche" är mjölk - fråga regelbundet om du behöver).

Tjänsten är ganska långsam men det verkar vara en mycket populär plats på kvällarna med lokala tonåringar. Såg inga engelska människor där medan vi var där, vilket alltid är ett bra tecken! Vi besökte El Flako efter spotting det i närheten av vårt hotell på google kartor och beslutade att gå eftersom flingor är en av mina favoritmatar.
Vi åkte på omkring 10:30 på en söndag. Det fanns ingen kö och så snart vi kom fram var vi varmt välkomna av killen som arbetar där.
Valet av spannmål är fantastiskt, spannmål från när jag var liten, spannmål från USA, spannmål du inte kunde föreställa sig ens existerade!
Du kan välja vad du gillar eller en förkonstruerad koncision! Min pojkvän hade fruktslingor och blå mjölk och jag valde ett alternativ från menyn. Jag kan inte komma ihåg namnet nu men det var Krave och coco poppar med en Nutella, bananer och kit Kat topping och chokladmjölk.

När de kom fram såg de varje bit så instagrammable som du skulle kunna föreställa dig och smakade ännu bättre. Delstorleken var tillräckligt stor för att ställa dig upp för dagen men tillräckligt liten för att du inte bara ställa dig upp för en diabetisk koma!
Jag skulle läsa några recensioner på resan rådgivare klagar på att det var alltför sött, inte säker på vad dessa människor förväntade sig från en nyhet spannmål café men det blir en enorm tummen upp från mig.
Läckra, mycket rimligt prissatta och härlig service. Skulle definitivt gå tillbaka nästa gång jag är i Barcelona!

Det här är den första platsen jag såg där jag kan äta alla typer av majsflingor, jag är inte så kul, men jag var verkligen nyfiken på att prova denna speciella frukost (eller smyga som du föredrar) och jag älskar verkligen det. Det finns många män, så du kan bestämma bättre kombinationen för dig och smaken är väldigt bra. Det är en plats för alla åldrar, det spelar ingen roll om du är ett barn eller gammal eller vad, här kan du få en original frukost och känna dig super full:) priset är bra också, jag betalade en kopp majsflingor om 6. 60 euro.

El Flako ligger på något som i det närmaste är en bakgata. Lokalen är liten och lite ruffig. Eftersom det inte finns så många bord uppstår kö utanför på gatan.

Här serveras olika blandningar av flingor av 150 olika slag. Konceptet är kul men för oss svenskar blir det så småningom en sockerchock.
