AMAZING pasta!! I decided to "make my own" which was the perfect option for me. I chose a basic noodle, with the mushroom sauce, added chicken, tomatoes & onion...literally amazing! I also ordered the homemade lemonade which was incredible! The staff are friendly and helpful (English speaking if needed) and the atmosphere is cute and spacious! I also really enjoyed the side bar which carried Olive oil, salt & pepper, utensils, & Parmesan - this way you can add as much as you'd like. I definitely recommend this place as I went twice in one week...it's that good!

What a great surprise this hidden gem was for us! I came to Spain with my two grandchildren and they ordered two orders of pasta. The staff were amazing and for being our first time visitors we felt right at home.

Likes: + Good food, reasonably priced, that's tasty + Bathrooms + Purse hooks near a few of the tables, though not available for every seat. Style: QSR "quick service restaurant." Order at a counter, and they bring you food to your table. What we ordered: 1. Pinsa Romana with Stracciatella - Translation, a very margherita-esque pizza, but think very fresh and soft mozzarella. The dough is heavier and has a slightly sour taste a la sourdough. First thing we finished and would order again. 2. Aglio y olio + spinach + shrimp. Delicious. Our second favorite and would order again. 3. Cacio y pepe with broccoli added. For my American tastes, this was too heavily white pepper and not black pepper. It was a lot for me to scarf down in one dish and no one else liked it enough to eat this family-style. Would have just doubled up on aglio & olio if I were to visit again, which I would. Overall, a very nice place to sit down and have a casual meal. Would come here again.

honestly I didn't know what to expect when we stopped here. everything was so fresh and so delicious. The people while not extremely warm were efficient and helpful. we grabbed our food to go so I didn't get any photos. loved being able to personalize everything. would definitely go back back

Service was VERY good, probably the best I've had so far in Barcelona. All the food was delicious, I had the pesto rosso with chicken and the oreo tiramisu and they were both excellent. The best part is, everything came in a lunch special with any kind of pasta, a drink, and desert for €12!! The staff even gave us a side of chicken and shots of limoncello on the house. I will definitely be back on my next visit to Barcelona :)

I stumbled across this place looking for another pasta place. I liked how they had "make your own" pasta option. I got an Aperol Spritz & pasta with pomodoro sauce. Both of them together cost me around 12 euros which honestly is a steal. The food was good and came out quick, the drink was perfect, and the place had a good vibe. For someone who is a pasta snob, I was not disappointed at all. Definitely recommend!

Solid customizable Italian food in a warm hipster atmosphere. I went on my first date night with a new man in my life here on a Saturday after browsing Yelp for places in the Gracia neighborhood, where I was staying. Of course we arrived before the post 9pm rush :) Large menus posted up were helpful, as were the english translations they provide. The decor is decidedly contemporary, you could be in London or SF, but certainly had the bones of the old-world. The food is good, and they have a ton of options for you to choose from. You order at the counter with very friendly staff and they bring the food out as it is ready. One exciting part is the kitchen is right in front and you can watch your food being made! I had a really good rigatoni with pomodoro sauce, extra tomatoes and onions. The pasta was cooked just right, and the onions had a slight crunch that made the dish feel fresh. My guy had the meat lasagna and it was gone in like 5 minutes, so he must have liked it. With two drinks, it was a mere $25! Tasty pastas and quick service await you at Macchina.

Tasty, quick pasta spot in Barcelona! I love how customizable everything is here since you get to specify the type of pasta, sauce, meat, and other ingredients you want. I got tagliatelle pomodoro with mushrooms and spinach and it was really tasty! Great portions for a decent price too

Great casual Italian food in Barcelona! Pasta dishes are great! Tiramisu was absolutely delicious. Reasonably priced. If you want a break from tapas, I highly recommend. We went back a second time during our vacation which we don't normally do.
