Food and drinks are on point. Due to the proximity of the Vatican, it is very expensive. Also, for Americans, it may seem chaotic. Just follow the process. Order at kiosk, get your number and then stand to the side until your number is called. There is a restroom, which is pretty clean but it is 1 Euro. It does make change so that is a win.

Busy location. They have some seating on the side. Staff is not that friendly. The coffee is as okay but they did not understand my need for "sweetener"; I must say "zacarina" next time. My cappuccino was good. Macaroons were mixed, Lemon was old. Raspberry was perfect.

Can I say WOW.. I asked if they have the toys that are displayed. I asked for girl toy hello kitty and they said NO and only showed the tech toy. Which was for boys. Mind that my cousin is talking to them in Spanish. Two people said no just this. So in 5 mins I end up ordering on the other side not were I asked which was the side of the fast order. I then asked the clerk who spoke 80% English and said do you have HK he said YES. I said WTF he then got the HK and showed me. UGH I swear these people who don't do a extra mile just to check. Yes people it only take less than a minute to check the other end of happy meal box. Anyways that one star is for the guy who took that extra step to check the happy meal box. The rest oh wait that's none yah -0 to McDonald's crew. Food was alright. How can you mess up fries it has a timer. Alarm goes off take it off the fryer and put salt. What sucks is that if you want McDonald's there is only 4. They don't have it close by each other like in L.A. Great location for people on the go an traveling.

I called in this branch of Mcdonald's, while passing the area on my trip to Barcelona. This branch is located in the Sants Railway station, This Mcdonald's store has very negative reviews before I came along but now I can understand why others might think that - this branch is awful. I ordered a Cheeseburger with Fries, and yes they offered gluten free buns which is fantastic as we don't get this in the UK, but the quality of my burger just was poor and the bun wasn't very nice either. The chips basically tasted of too much salt and nothing else. The branch was rather over-priced too, with my friends burger and chips and a drink (I didn't order a drink), everything came to over 10 euros. This branch is probably only somewhere that one would visit before getting a train, and it certainly isn't worth coming out of your way to go to this branch like I did, instead it should be somewhere to go at last resort rather than at first choice, hence warranting a single one star.

We arrived at the train station where this McDonald's is located in the late afternoon and checked into our adjoining hotel. The restaurants we wanted to check out for dinner did not open (per Spanish custom) until ~ 8 p.m. So we grabbed some fries here to snack on, to tide us over until meal-time. The place is not mobbed, but has a steady stream of customers all day from the trains. By 6 p.m. it appeared somewhat trashed (i.e., the customers outpaced the cleaning guy). We ate here at least one other morning for breakfast also. It was the most obvious (if not only) place offering smoothies among the restaurants in the station itself. At that early hour, it was somewhat deserted and also quite clean. On the 2nd visit, I did figure out that the automated order-taking kiosk wanted my credit card's PIN #, though it was far from obvious on the tiny screen that input was needed. That will save you a little time in dealing with the counter staff (who I'm sure are used to it, given the % of non-locals who pass through here). To be clear, the staff were pleasant enough on the initial visit where I gave up paying at the kiosk.

This place is awesome compared to the US. Their McCafe is actually a cafe. While waiting for my, I witness one person take orders a serve dozens of patrons. They keep the place clean, make it fast and take much pride in what they do.

This place was convenient for an potato-y egg thing that we wanted to eat before we got on the train. I mean, it's McDonalds, so we weren't expecting much, but they delivered what we wanted. Easy and tasty.
