My daughter and I stayed at this hotel for five days, and we had an amazing experience. The staff are incredibly kind, professional, and always have a smile on their faces. They go above and beyond to assist guests, making our stay even more enjoyable. As for cleanliness, I would give them a perfect score—it was impeccable! I sincerely thank all the hotel staff for their outstanding service. We truly appreciate it!

I recently stayed at El Avenida Palace, and unfortunately, my experience was far from the luxury I expected. While the hotel has an impressive exterior and a central location, these are about the only positives I can mention.

First and foremost, the hotel is currently undergoing extensive building works, which are incredibly disruptive. From early in the morning until late in the afternoon, there was constant drilling and construction noise, making it impossible to relax in the room. At no point during the booking process was this mentioned, so it came as a frustrating surprise.

Adding to the disappointment, the hotel requires a key deposit, which I was assured would be refunded at check-out. However, despite multiple requests, I never received it back. The staff have ignored my emails, which has made the whole experience feel dishonest.

Overall, I cannot recommend El Avenida Palace. The ongoing construction and lack of basic customer care make it a place to avoid until significant improvements are made. There are plenty of other hotels in the area that will actually prioritise their guests’ comfort and satisfaction.

This is a 3 star hotel trying to be a 4-5 star. We traveled in Feb, so the hotel has a very warm "set temperature" for the room and you can't cool it - we asked and had to open the windows (which have no screens) so it was always loud/light. This was an issue for the kids' room, especially not having screens on an open window. We've stayed in older EU hotels, and if you're paying this much, the ambience should be worth the lack of modern amenities. This was not the case here. Glad the pool was there, but it is VERY small - can imagine how packed it would be in the summer. The old school key system is also cumbersome. Weird there is no stoppers on the shower doors so there's a lot of water leakage. However the location is GREAT & staff are really excellent, efficient, and friendly.

Our stay was not pleasant. The hotel is under construction all day 8am-7pm . Very Loud vibrating, drilling and hammering for hours non stop the entire building shakes as you can hear in the video. You can hear the construction in the lobby while they do work on the upper floors. It seems like the work will be ongoing for some time. The team tries to minimize the issue by saying it’s out of their control but the work is being done inside the hotel where the guests are staying. There were multiple guests in the lobby complaining at the same time but they would not offer much help. My partner was not well during our stay and it was very uncomfortable. Besides the ongoing construction, the air conditioning was turned off, it was so hot we sweat through all of the bedding and it needed to be changed. The only thing they offered was a loud fan that was partially broken. After the first night we complained to the management about the issues and they offered to move us across the hall on the same floor but said they can’t do anything about the construction noise. Without informing us, they sent a maid on 2 occasions to bring water and chocolate almonds as an apology, unfortunately both times the maids entered our room while we were naked, the first time in the shower and the second time while in bed. The maids knocked and immediately entered without waiting for us to reply. I’ve never had such an uncomfortable stay. It’s really a shame because the hotel is beautiful and you can tell the staff care but they could not resolve our issues. We booked well in advance and they could have at least informed us about the construction.

This hotel although the room is a bit dated was a wonderful place to stay.  The lobby was beautifully ornate and the front desk staff was always so helpful and kind. The locations is perfect and the price of the rooms was very reasonable despite it being near everything.  The room itself was spacious and the bathroom had double sinks and was very roomy. I walked highly recommend staying here.
