The place is very popular and is located in the Balmes street. The interior decoration is casual but small. The service is good and the guy who served was very approaching. Nevertheless, the food is overprice and comes with really small portions. Not to mention the fact that the every dish was pretty salty. As for the price, we were 3 persons and spent average 65 euros per each. If the meal includes wine you could expect much more. Overall, it’s a place to try once in life. And oh they only open for lunch.

I think that one of the distinct Spanish traditional food qualities is the respect for the produce, a down to earth way to cook good quality and fresh ingredients. I think this place is a great example of this style, I could not recommend it more. Book in advance!

Amazing food but poor service. The cuisine is sublime but we were let down with the service. It took them over 20 minutes to finally take our order, by that time a few of the items where unavailable. When we asked what had happened the head waitress told us that since we didn’t book ahead we didn’t have priority to order. Strange and rude reply. Try the fish in butter sauce and the different assortment of sauces. Don’t order the rabbit, 90% bones, 10% meat.

Would love to try the food again but would need to think about it.

If your from another country they segregate you to the front bar area by the door.  So smoke and cold air constantly blow on you. Service is a train wreck.  Staff Constantly yelling at each other things they need. No check ins, no follow up. Some items were ok, others just horrible.  If your expectations of a great restaurant experience,  avoid this flop. Our food experience was burnt food, undercooked,  and poor execution cooking techniques.  Any street vendor is better then this place. This misfit vulgar group of rookie hacks have no business in the food service industry.  Truly low class. Not worth the prices they ask.

My friends and I a long, leisurely lunch in the back room. The space was gorgeous. The service was stellar. Amazing wine list. Food was so delicious and very carefully prepared.
