Amazing Dining Experience at Xera Restaurant
I had dinner last night at Xera Restaurant in Barcelona and it was truly exceptional. We chose the 6-course meat tasting menu, paired with a top-quality Sauvignon wine. Every dish was perfectly prepared, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The quality of the ingredients and the creativity of the chef really stood out.

The service was equally impressive—professional, friendly, and attentive without being intrusive. The staff made us feel welcome and taken care of throughout the evening.

If you’re in Barcelona and looking for a memorable dining experience, Xera is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

A clear and easy 5 out 5!  Rare to score that with me ...but the team of Xera and Nicolas deserve it..  highly recommend you make it a must eat when in BCN...

Team dinner couldn't be better .. welcoming like we would be regulars and friends for years..

The kitchen and food amazing! Each course explained to us in detail, presented beautiful and delicious taste..

This was the best meal we had in Barcelona. Xera presents a flawlessly executed service blending traditional Catalonian dishes with a clear modern inspiration. Their dishes are clean and fresh, and delight all of the senses. The small and intimate setting allows for super attentive service and a lovely atmosphere. Overall, 10/10.

We were a party of 17 visiting Barcelona for just a day and a half and wanted to have an authentic tapas experience for dinner and as you can imagine most restaurants weren’t able to accommodate such a large party given that they are small and intimate in size, yet when I reached out to Xera they said that while their restaurant is also small and intimate in size that they would love to have us and would ensure we were seated as a group and have a wonderful experience.

When we arrived they were ready for us and had prepared a beautiful dining area on their second floor for us and additionally prepared a prefix menu with options that included varieties of wine (if we were interested).

The group went with the prefix option (with the wines) as it included their top tapas in addition to many other tapas that were on their menu for the night.  There were a variety of wines that accompanied the meal which included both sangria and sparkling wine if anyone desired.

Service was AMAZING which as you can imagine may not be the easiest with such a large party, however, the servers tended to all of our needs and when they realized there were a few tapas that weren’t finished, asked if we wanted to try alternatives just in case we didn’t care for the originals … WOW!

The tapas themselves were all delicious including the desert tapas and the entire party was stuffed, tipsy and happy at the end of the meal.

The manager Nicholas also recommended a nearby cocktail bar and even arranged for the portion of our party who was interested in having nightcaps to have seats at the bar and walked us over to ensure we didn’t get lost.

Simply amazing! We didn’t have a reservation and the place was full but the team at Xera were super accommodating and really attentive.

We almost ordered every dish on the menu but the stand out dishes were the scallops, cerviche and the duck.

Can’t wait to go back again.
