The tapas were good. The meat specially wasn’t prepared according to my taste. We were a bit neglected because it was a bit overcrowded inside and we had to sit outside. However the lady in charge of the seatings was doing her best to help everyone. Maybe if you purchase more tapas rather than special meals and maybe book in advance it will be a great place!

Love, love, love Bar del Pla. Great vibe, fantastic front of house team, excellent range of natural wines, their ‘house’ wine is so so good! Highlights: Meatballs & Squid & the Chocolate tart. Mushroom with wasabi not worth the hype. Remember to order bread as most dishes have fab sauces that are too good to leave on the plate.

We came here to experience a tapas-style restaurant with a funky twist! This place was recommended to us by friends, and it didn’t disappoint! We were lucky to arrive early, as the restaurant started to fill up right after we got our table. A reservation is highly recommended! Our waiter, Henric, and the entire service team were fantastic—friendly, professional, and proactive! We had heard that service in Spain could sometimes be cold, but this was definitely not the case at Bar del Pla! Henric recommended a delicious white wine, and every dish we tried was absolutely delicious! Great ambiance—perfect for a nice date night or a fun dinner with friends. We would definitely recommend it!

Probably one of my favorite restaurants in Barcelona. The hack is to come here for lunch (same menu as dinner) otherwise you have to book a table in advance. This place has everything you need. Incredible food, wine and people. Cannot recommend it enough. Definitely get the mussels! Do not leave Barcelona before eating the mussels at Bar Del Pla!

All the tapas are incredible. It was very busy and the server still found time to always attend to us. The artichokes and sardines were just incredible. Definitely recommend.
