I have been staying at Casa Bonay regularly for years now. It is my home from home in Barcelona. The rooms are calm, simple and beautiful and travelling alone I always feel safe.
The atmosphere at Casa Bonay is super nice. Creatives, tourists, local people popping in for drinks, food.
I would not hesitate to recommend it. I have stayed in other places in the city. And yes, sometimes they are a bit more fancy etc but for me, Casa Bonay is the best.

We enjoyed our stay, and the staff were great. The room was missing some amenities (milk/sugar with the kettle, tissue box, shelf in the shower). We were surprised by the city tax as this was not mentioned when booking directly on the website. Also, if staying during the summer, I’d consider staying somewhere closer to the plaza as it was quite a walk in the heat (especially if you’re considering the hop-on hop-off bus).

As a destination wedding planner we've hosted wedding guests at Casa Bonay and celebrated the wedding dinner in the bodega. The team of Casa Bonay and Bodega Bonay have been very welcoming and professional. All the guests where well taken care of and the quality of the food was excellent. Highly recommend!

This is the third time my husband and I have stayed at Casa Bonay over the past eight years, and each visit has been more impressive, friendly, and homely than the last. Our experience this time was simply incredible!

The standout highlight of our trip has to be the staff, once again. Lukas, at the bar, crafted incredible cocktails for us, one after another. He took the time to understand our flavor preferences rather than just offering the menu options, providing a bespoke service that showcased true craftsmanship.

The crowning jewel of Casa Bonay is undoubtedly Carmen from Reception. She made us feel like superstars from the moment we checked in. Each time we returned from an outing, she greeted us with engaging conversation and genuine friendliness, making us feel truly welcomed.

Casa Bonay continues to exceed our expectations, and we can't wait to return!

Definitely not a 4 star hotel. The front desk staff were not friendly at all (horrible attitudes). They do not seemed happy with their jobs and show it to you. The rooms were tiny for the ridiculous over charge. Also, everything that was inside bedroom like toothpaste was extra charge. Further, the amenities like the rooftop were tiny and reservations required (expensive drinks). Every time, you left the room the cleaning staff would turn off the a/c which seemed odd. Additionally, the cleaning service was not good at all. Moreover, they do not provide a do not disturb sign for door, and so, you will get interrupted by cleaning service multiple times a day even though they do bad cleaning. Need assistance like a toilet paper from front desk in the middle of the night? Good luck! Overall a 1 star hotel not 4 like they claim. Beware… this is more like a motel 6 in the US. Spend your hard earned money at another place. Buyer beware!
