Every now and then, you come across an establishment that truly stands apart.

This is that place.

Craft beer is nuanced and at times fleeting.  The owner here (Guillem) takes both the art and science of craft beer seriously.

This is perhaps the best Bitter I have ever had (house made), and the eclectically curated selection of drafts and bottles here is surprising in its depth. You will not have a single beer here that does not deserve to be on this list.  All of the house made beers are incredible.  With a range that starts with Cantillon, you’ll never go wrong.

Haven’t set my foot here since 2015. Nothing much has changed though. A very quaint little hole in the wall with such a friendly proprietor you will be hard pressed to leave. Bit of “gypsy” brewing with a few of their own beers on tap.

Fridges are limited but stocked with good local show-cases.

If you are in this part of town, I would say it’s your best (if not only) bet.

We had the pleasure of being served by a Catalan waiter whose name I sadly didn't catch, but he was, without a doubt, the best waiter I've ever encountered.
His attentive service and deep knowledge of beers and ciders were incredibly helpful.
What truly stood out was how he embraced our quirky sense of fun; the bored dog that sat next to us in contrast with a sad sheep on a cider bottle representing the "being in the moment and contemplating life 😂" philosophy.
With his calm, loving, and caring energy he made our experience unforgettable.

While the other waiter was really grumpy, it made for an interesting contrast, adding to the experience. Thank you so much!

Excelente sitio de picoteo y birras. Excellent place for grabbing a bite and beers. Cheese table and pate were amazing!!! They also have a good beer selection. Recommended if you're near Barcelona estació de Sants

Home Sibaris is  very pleasant craft beer watering hole in the vicinity of Sants Station (from whence goes trains to the airport and long distance routes).  About 8 beers on draft as well as a good can collection. If your friend's  taste extends beyond beer then the bar ( typical for the city being long and narrow) is located on a lovely plaza with other options that they can experience while leaving you in peace ✌to savour the whole range.
