Koy Shunka 2.0. Second time we have been here since they remodelled. The interior is now beautiful and a great visual experience. the service is also fantastic. Now it is a real Michelin star evening. Yes the menu is expensive but the plates are extensive. The food is amazing and you’ll appreciate it the most if you like Japanese cuisine and seafood.

We took the 178 menu ‘Koy’ which was plenty.

Definitely a great experience overall and I’d come back a third time.

Very good experience overall and very good service. Only comments are regarding the wine list and desserts. The waiters knowledge on sake and specially on wine offered on the list was very limited i think a wine/sake expert is missing on the team. Food wise everything was very good except the desserts, 3 out of 3 were nothing to remember

Worth every penny. What an experience!

I've been here a couple of times and been to a few Michelin guides/stars restaurants in Barcelona.

First time I was here 3 years ago. I wasn't very impressed. I came back this time with little expectations. I was pleasantly surprised by the renovations. The restaurant became much more intimate and cosy. Compared to other bigger Michelin star places, it feels more personalised and welcoming. Lots of wood and stones. Very earthy.

We opted for the Menu Koy for 178 per person including VAT. I was hungry when I arrived and wanted to get a bigger menu but I'm glad I didn't.

Every single dish was full of flavour and top notch ingredients. Staff were well trained and lovely. The wine list is absolutely amazing. Wagyu beef to dessert. I walked out of her very happy and satisfied. I'll be coming back when they change the menu.

The restaurant is a gem by its first encounter as you ring a doorbell, a small door open in front of you with a long dark corridor leading you to a sliding door into the restaurant. The entrance is grandiose.

The tour to wait for your table is well done as a moment to star at the central busy part where all the magic happens.

The ballet of all employee is musical and your eyes can always be caught by something going on somewhere. From smoking, cooking, rolling, assembling, serving and cleaning, you can have a look at it all.

The food is really sophisticated and tasty. Perfect balance and combination. Except one dish I found out of line with prior and later, it is a slow escalation to paramount.

Highly recommend to book at the kitchen.
