Friendly and knowledgeable service perfectly matches the inventive and delicious tasting menu. The colours, shapes and textures all add to the flavours and are well matched by the wines.

We had the large tasting menu because it seemed a shame not to! Everything on it was delicious.

The portions are perfectly proportioned for such a long menu. Not sure I can see anyone leaving here hungry, quite the opposite!

I have to admit my expectations were high from the get go and on most Mae delivered. The dishes were interesting and the wine pairing well considered! The atmosphere let's it down a little because of the way the room is a split but the service is next level. Thanks.

I loved the tasting menu. Some very experimental pieces and some unique delights. All beautifully presented. It was seafood focused and very well paired with wines. The service was excellent, although I had a little trouble understanding one of the waiters as he described the food. The duck at the end seemed out of place for the meal, but the rest was incredible and a wonderful experience all around.

A wonderful experience of food! There were so many unexpected flavor combinations that you wouldn't  expect to work together.. but they did! The tasting menu was delightful and inspiring.. everything looked and tasted beautifully. The staff was attentive and very professional. However, we had a little bit of difficulty understanding one of the older servers, which is too bad because I'm sure his comments would make the experience at Mae even more memorable. Still, the food was divine,and I wish I could give it more than 5 stars! Also, I wanted to mention that we visited on a Thursday during dinner time.. we were the only patrons there for good 45 minutes until some other couple arrived. We truly felt as if the restaurant was opened just for the four of us ;)

A great Michelin star experience. We enjoyed the Gran Menu along with the Vida wine pairing. Each dish was unique and delicious, and the wines were wonderful. The entire experience took about 3 hours. While the atmosphere isn't the best, the food was exquisite, and the service was exceptional.
