I initially booked this hotel for a group through Booking.com.. Thanks to a discount applied to the price, I was able to secure the booking at a good rate. However, a few days later, I received a message from the hotel requesting that, due to the large number of guests, the reservation be made directly with them instead.

I asked them to provide the conditions and rates for a direct booking, and they assured me that they would replicate the original reservation. They also requested that I cancel my booking on the website. After canceling, they sent me an invoice, but it showed a reservation at a different hotel with a higher price.

I asked them to correct the reservation to match the original one, but they refused. Instead, they issued another invoice for the same hotel, but the price was significantly higher than the rate I had previously booked. I repeatedly asked for the price to be adjusted to the original amount, but they kept redirecting me between the group reservations department and the individual bookings team.

After two weeks of back-and-forth, I was forced to find another hotel. The entire experience was completely unprofessional. It seems the price listed on the website, which I initially booked, was not reflective of the actual rate. They manipulated the situation with false claims, forcing me to cancel my reservation.

I had an incredible stay at this hotel, and I can't speak highly enough of Giselle. From the moment we arrived, she was an invaluable help. She was always willing to address any questions and made sure our experience was perfect. Her kindness and professionalism made our stay even more special. Without a doubt, Giselle is a great asset to the hotel, and thanks to her, we felt well taken care of. I would definitely return to this hotel because of the excellent service they offer, and the dedication of people like Giselle. Highly recommended!

I stayed in the 5 star section. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast view at the 24th floor was great, especially at table with soft sofa at the window! And it was not crowded either. It seems that we could just sit there to relax, sip coffee, and enjoy the view forever, without any urgency to join any tours on time. The breakfast food was versatile and delicious. The room and bath were European style and not as grand as in Cancun or Vegas. It was a good stay of 4 nights for us to tour Barcelona leisurely. The location was not very close to most attractions though.

My husband & I stayed at The Level Melia Barcelona Sky last week. What an amazing experience we had being in Barcelona for our 1st time. The hotel staff was absolutely fantastic, great customer service, very professional! Unfortunately, can't remember everyone's name, the week of 02/22 to our last day 02/29, all the staff working those days made our stay extra special.
Thank you so much for your smile, your kindness, professionalism surprising us with a beautiful ocean view room with a bottle of champagne, delicious chocolate cake.
Food was great everytime, the view was beautiful.

I was planning to have a vacation in Barcelona with my friends, and I booked some rooms in a hotel through Booking.com.. The booking was at a special price, cheaper than the usual rate for this hotel, and even lower than the cost of a 3-star hotel in the same area.

A few days later, the hotel contacted me, asking me to cancel the booking, claiming it didn’t align with their policy. They added that if I didn’t cancel it, they would do so themselves. When I inquired about the reason, I was told that my booking fully complied with the policy, but they still wouldn’t accept it and said this is a group booking ( we was 6 rooms and in policy had mentioned that 9 rooms and more will considered group booking ).

Although this booking seemed like a great opportunity, the hotel’s behavior made me worry about potentially losing the reservation at the last minute. As a result, I canceled the booking and opted for a 3-star hotel instead. While it doesn’t appear as luxurious, the system of that hotel seems to embody true hospitality rather than what feels like systematic scamming.

Staying at the first hotel initially seemed appealing, but the risk of losing a booked hotel room in a busy city like Barcelona doesn’t make for a good experience. For these reasons, I will never choose this hotel again and urge you to take this into consideration.
