I came here for my birthday. The service was amazing from the very start. They assisted us with our coats at the entrance. We were allowed to choose a table of our choice. The restaurant is super cozy. They have a chimney and nice soft music. The room is a bit dark which is so relaxing. They explain every dish to you which is so nice. I really enjoyed and l highly recommend.

The restaurant had a very private feeling to it. Food was delicious, however I’d like for the duck to arrive to the table slightly warmer as it cooled down very quickly and became chewy. The staff were very attentive throughout the entire evening without feeling intrusive. I must say a DJ set on a Thursday evening with music being turned up across the restaurant is an unusual choice, however the customers sitting in the bar section seemed to have enjoyed it

Great food in a very cozy and dark ambient.  Small dishes with great flavors. Its very small place with great service. The bar is very special with great selection of spirits and wine.

Excellent restaurant close to Las Ramblas. Rene was such a great host guiding us what to get for food. Our drinks were superb, the bartender explained it, which enhanced the experience. Carabinero carpaccio and magret duck were the best dishes. Awesome environment too.

A beautiful pearl in downtown Barcelona. Nestled into a corner of the old town the hotel hosting the restaurant is gorgeous. The ambience was great, staff friendly and calm but attentive and the food was truly tasty. I will surely be back - thank you to the Contraban team for a great evening!
