I haven’t been here for at least 9 years! I walked past it and couldn’t believe it was still here.. I had family over from the UK and they wanted to be by the sea… I was surprised at the quality of the food tbh… and amount of food!
My nachos came out first and I ate them before everyone even had their food.. plus the chips were really tasty but cold .. service was really nice with 2 of the staff but one guy was a bit rude … atmosphere: music was a bit loud and I could hear two lots of music which was a bit annoying… 4/5 will definitely come back again and not take about 9 years 😅

This is experience is not something extraordinary, but fine and I believe I will stop by a next time once again...we took the nachos which were average, but tasteful for me. Sangria was not so good as I expected, also average, but we asked extra ice and staff was very friendly and they brought us. It is a nice place, close to the beach, surrounded of the crowds of people and free atmosphere.

What an amazing place right on the beach. All the drinks are very tasty plus their famous Oreo milkshake is really really good, but my personal favourite is Mac Beach- the ribeye burger which is so juicy and tender and at the same time crunchy thanks to bacon. I went there twice for this burger and atmosphere.

Honestly, super chill spot. Pretty good food and a reliable cast of waiters that help make the experience pleasant.

When you’re in Spain and homesick for an American/California leaning salad, this is the spot. The nachos come properly loaded and the salad comes without canned corn. What else could you ask for?

Additionally, the waiters are super nice and mostly bilingual. You feel like they are there to help. They all seem like level headed, smart folks.

I was able to bring my dog to eat outside and they didn’t have any issue with them. Although I will say, a few times they mentioned bringing him a bowl of water and no water was ever brought. This happened a few times over different visits to SHB. I get it, it’s a lower priority task in the scheme of things so I didn’t consider it in my rating scheme.

-1 star for two major things:

1.) the lock of the women’s bathroom is broken and has been for at least a week… which means if you want to use the bathroom without someone walking in (they will), you have to use the men’s room. Seems like a pretty high priority thing to fix!

2.) the price isn’t cheap. I think it comes with the location and the food being severed, but it’s worth mentioning that the items are definitely above local averages for similar items.

If you are on the beach in Barcelona or walking around the area, I recommend you try this place. The best of all is its location and the surfing atmosphere. Lines are usually formed to get a table, so I recommend you to go early. Their natural juices are very tasty and refreshing, and the menu is very varied and original. We ordered the vegan burger and a brioche with larded meat (which I think is no longer available since they update the menu every so often). I also recommend their homemade lemonade. The staff takes a while to serve you because it is usually crowded, so be patient. This is a very good place to eat with a sea view.
