A very spacious room (roomy) with 2 windows and large sitting area. Amazing area downstairs where you can enjoy drinks. I wish we visited during a warmer season as the rooftop terrace looks lovely (hotel guests have access to it during winter, there are loungers, tables and the pool, but to be honest it was pretty cold to spend time there; there is a bar, but it was closed). The area next to the hotel is modern, not very touristy and feels like a good alternative to the city centre, especially if you are visiting Barcelona not for the first time. Across the road is a decent shopping mall with a modern food court. Sea is at a walkable distance.

Very hip hotel, and lovely atmosphere. Cool bar downstairs and a nice small pool area at the top. Feels very welcoming and ambient with the colour palette and calming furnishings. Very pleasant stay and would be great if not the breakfast experience, because its all served, during weekdays the breakfast was extra slow… its a weird concept not to have any buffet at all. Also room cleaning - sugar was never once refilled…
But overall if you dont care about breakfast, would stay again. Great location, very comfortable bed and pillows, good shower.

This is a beautiful hotel in a great location. Note: The desireable Tope rooftop area is closed to outside guests in the off season. Hotel guests may be able to go up there but not day guests. My only wish is that they fix the service in the restaurants; it was very confusing and just bad service. There are three restaurant outlets close together on one side of the hotel: the pizza counter Bodega, the sit down more fancy restaurant Four Corners, and the outdoor tented area (which I guess is part of Four Corners). We came to have an afternoon drink and check email and went out to the tented area. It was fine until the sun went down and it started to get cold. We asked for them to turn the heaters on but they said they were not working. So we went inside to sit in the Bodega area and we waited for a minute. The Four Corners was completely empty and there was a bored hostess waiting at the host stand. After waiting for a long time I went to her to ask if we could order some pizza. She said we needed to go up to the counter. There was no one there so I waited at the counter and the SAME BORED HOSTESS CAME BEHIND THE COUNTER and said she would go get someone. So it was the exact same person I just talked to! Eventually we did get our pizza but this kind of idiocy and bad customer service is why Americans lose their minds in Spain. You have this beautiful place, excellent food - but you destroy the experience by making people wait and ignoring them. Just freaking give customers service. If you are standing there bored and people are obviously waiting to be helped, just help them. Another note: we were coming in with our folding bikes, and the door man made a big deal that we had to check them at the front desk and we could not just fold them up (they are about as big as a small rolling suitcase) and keep them with us at the outdoor terrace. We are older folks and probably not "cool looking". About 20 minutes later, an attractive 20-something came in with the same bike and they let her sit right in the lobby bar with it. Whatever!

Room was good. TV didn't have the option to change audio language.
Staff were a bit young and sometimes careless or absent-minded but always polite and helpful once one asked for something.
Level of English was very good.

Breakfast was included, otherwise too pricey for what it actually is.

I wasn't that hungry so I ordered just Eggs and bacon. Eggs were very oily and bacon hard, dry, but not crispy. Had to ask for butter as they had nothing at all on the table. My coffee took ages to arrive! (After the food).

First time visiting the city of Barcelona and I could not have picked a better hotel. It is close to a metro station, the breakfast food was very tasty with lots of options. The staff was friendly and the room was very clean with lots of space. This is a luxury hotel so the price was on the high side but it was definitely worth it.
