Viana tops my list of favourite restaurants for Barcelona 💯

When the reviews mentioned Michelin star quality meals, I dined at Viana with high expectations which were not only met but exceeded.

We had the Angus beef and crackling pork, both of which were spectacular dishes with delectable layers of flavour and textures to enhance the tender meat dishes. The chefs really did their homework and know how to make each component complement well with the others. The same can be said for the chocolate dessert which is a common option, but made truly unique at Viana. We also enjoyed the blackberry mojito which tasted better as the night went by, a rare trait of drinks especially with melting ice.

While the price is seemingly steep at first, the taste and effort put into the dishes made every penny spent worthwhile.

Will definitely be back to Viana and highly recommend others to visit it too!

5 stars all over. The food was delicious. The service was really nice and professional. They ensured person with allergies was informed at all times and taken care of (separated the sauces for us to make the experience easier).

Next visit to Barcelona will be returning!

Every dish was so flavorful and amazing. The food made us want to try every dish on the menu. Scallops were my favorite. Easily one of the best I’ve had, so flavorful. The blackberry mojito was also really good. Server was so attentive and friendly. Definitely recommend if visiting Barcelona. 11/10.

The food is outstanding.   It is our last dinner at Barcelona and it is the best we ever had in this trip.  I wish I find it sooner.   Therefore I can come back to try other wonderful dishes.  I had the beef cheek.  Well balance.  Better than Michelin restaurants I ever had.  Make reservation if you don’t want to wait.

Viana was host to our bachelorette party's big fancy dinner in Barcelona. The ambiance inside is very chic and the service was magnificent.

You can choose to indulge in a €65 menu which includes a variety of starters, a main of choice, and dessert, plus a bottle of wine for every four individuals. I was happily surprised to see that they offered a dedicated vegan friendly prix fare menu so that I could be a part of my party's dinner.

The waiter was able to explain the menu options to me and even shared honest feedback about their recommendations. I chose to go with their mushroom paella as my main since it sounded heartier than the other option, and they agreed.

As our food came out, I was given individual vegan dishes that honestly looked better than my friend's meat options. Loved their stuffed tomato and stir-fried tofu and veggies. They even deconstructed a complimentary starter to make it vegan for me to enjoy.

The veggie paella I had here was the best of the bunch from my time in Barcelona. I was pretty tired of it by this point but was able to enjoy that and the fresh fruit at the end as my dessert.

We stayed for nearly 3 hours for the meal which seems so commonplace in Spain. Thanks Viana for the wonderful experience and for making sure we got all our bottles of wine by the end of the night as well.
