Excellent meal out, the restaurant is in an old art deco cinema which has a great atmosphere. The sharing dishes were all great and the lamb and paella also very good. They also have a good wine list and were very happy to recommend reasonably priced bottles.

The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. No problem for Catalan or English speakers.

The food was beautiful to the eye and impeccably fresh. Delicious and inventive combinations.

We went for the €60 menu and it was more than enough. The €40 was essentially the same but needed hard choices.

The tomato and fig salad was spectacular. The baccala was perfectly cooked. All other courses exceeded expectations.

Great wine list with lots of local options.

We tried the 'Menú Degustació' and it was excellent, from start to finish. It is great that they use local products and that they combine a varied use of flavours that work great together. Very reasonably priced for the quality and the service you get. I would totally recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy a unique food experience to visit can Xapes!
