Had an absolutely fabulous time celebrating our anniversary at Puntarena. We sat on the terrace and despite it being December, there were plenty of patio heaters and the roof was covered so that gave it a homely feel. The top two dishes had to be the sea bass and the braised rib, they were utterly delicious. The margaritas were excellent too. All round 10/10 for a special occasion, as it was on the expensive side.

Really great vibe and delicious food! Service was good - overall accomodating. Fave dishes here: Taco Alambre de Camarón and their Pescado a la Talla!

Fabulous! Fine Mexican food in a very pleasant atmosphere. The service was up to par! I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant. We ordered a variety of dishes, and all were delicate, surprising, flavorful, also beautiful. My pictures do not do Puntarena justice, but go and delight your palate!
