The hotel’s location was excellent, right in the center, and everything was nearby. However, I faced two major issues during my stay.

The first issue was quite unsettling. I left my room and placed my personal hair comb on the table. When I returned, I found it used! The teeth of the comb were damaged, clearly showing signs of use. I went to the lobby to report it, explaining that I had left my room with a brand-new comb, and when I came back, it was in this condition. Shockingly, the staff responded very unprofessionally, simply saying, “I can’t believe you!” as if my concern didn’t matter. I requested that no one enter my room again after that incident. The lack of professionalism was truly disappointing.

The second issue was the room itself—it had no sunlight at all, making it feel dark and somewhat gloomy. This might not be a problem for some, but personally, I found it uncomfortable.

On a positive note, they provided me with an adapter with a €10 deposit, but they didn’t charge me for it in the end, which was a nice gesture.

Overall, I don’t think I would stay at this hotel again. However, I must admit that the location is excellent, close to all the main attractions in Madrid.

If you’re looking for a hotel that you can enjoy the company of your friends that stay at other hotels then this is not the one !
They do not allow Guests come inside the hotel, we have never seen this in any part of the world

Our room had a window looking into an internal wall. It was completely dark all day like a dungeon. Very depressing and the bed was 2,00m X 1,60m
Made our six nights a challenge! Never seen such a small bed in a hotel

All that for €258/night breakfast NOT included !!!!
All in all we would not go back to this hotel again

Loved this hotel! Warm, industrial design on the main floor while the rooms are light and airy and a good size. Very nice size bathrooms too. Hotel is well maintained with pleasant service. Location was perfect for us. Quiet side street, small market across the street and lots of nice breakfast cafes nearby to walk to.

The room wasn’t sufficient for a January break. The duvet was very thin and the room was cold. There was black mould around the edge of the bath. The room was incredibly poorly insulated and we could hear all kinds of sounds from the hallways and nearby rooms and were woken up in the night on both nights. The communal area was pleasant enough.

Location was stellar. Room was large and we were FINALLY able to control the thermostat unlike most other hotels or establishments we stayed at. Breakfast is fab. We stayed 4 nights here and loved it. Centrally located with just a 15-minute walk to everything you'd want and/or need. Grocery store directly across the street. The small bar inside the hotel lobby is perfect for a glass of wine with small tapas plate. Service was excellent. Overall, 7 Islas exceeded our expectations when comparing it to some of the other hotels we stayed at during our 3 week tour of Spain. Recommend.
