Popular as a Madrid foodie recommendation…it doesn’t disappoint. The cod is crispy flakey salty goodness that is perfectly paired with a vermouth. The vibe is awesome. A must visit.

🚨Foodie Alert

Friends recommended and they were right : uncontested King of the Cod in Madrid, Casa Revuelta is one of those timeless restaurant that have always been there and will always be there.

One of those beloved single-specialty tapas restaurant, they deliver the bacalao in fine form & taste. Everything is about the batter and Revuelta has built their cathedral on this batter. It is wonderful. I really enjoyed the taste of the cod, no ammonia taste, authentic fresh.

Service was awesome, super friendly server that loves their job and have done their job, also, forever. One of the best of 2024, very smooth, friendly and efficient, a wonder to see actually.

Bring together pleasant service, above-grade food and a cold, fresh glass of beer and this is a stop you won’t forget in Madrid.

the frituras de bacalao are worth the visit alone. the torta de gambas was a great surprise and the batatas bravas were some of the better ones i had during my short visit.

i would love to come back here and try more things, or just get. bunch of the frituras and eat them all. so good!!😊

The fried cod was fresh and tasty, though a bit pricey.
The portion of pork crackling (torreznos) was more than enough for 2 of us. Taste was good too but too much fat for me. And my mouth grew tired after chewing the pork.
