Madrid doesn't get more central than Gran Via: the Guest House is one block away from Gran Via Metro- with a lift street level - and also less than 1 minute from Callao.
Yes, the building lift is a bit rickety but it works and although it might take a while to be able to use it ( it is busy during the weekend and early afternoon) I only caught it on the way up as I didn't mind 5 floors of descending stairs 😉
Expect some noise during the night, ear plugs are vital if you want to get any sleep at all but the building is fresh and shady, the Staff is friendly and helpful and the guests have free unlimited hot drinks from a Nespresso machine in the corridor.
I chose the Guest House for the central location and I couldn't have been happier.

I went there for a long weekend and it couldn’t be a more perfect choice! The reception is 24/7 which is amazing. They have free drinks such as cappuccino, hot chocolate, tee etc. The owner of the hostel as well as the coworkers are super nice and will help you with everything you need. The bed was so cozy, I slept like a baby. The location couldn’t be more perfect, you go out and are literally in the city center. Because it’s literally in the middle of the city center there is a little tiny bit of noise, but nothing that will interrupt your sleep or well being. I would recommend it to everyone and will definitely come back!!

The location and price were my primary reasons why I chose this accommodation during my weekend trip in Madrid. The accommodation is located nearby Callo metro station and it is on the 5th floor of the Building. There is a lift thus make it easier for people who bring luggage. The check-in process was smoothly good at 12:30pm and I could check-out at 12pm. As I had a single room (i.e. room no 6), the toilet is outside the room. However this room has its owns bathroom. Fresh towels as well as soap are given. The reception is 24 hours and they were friendly and polite. Free coffee and tea are also offered. Nevertheless you have to pay an euro for a 500ml bottle of water. I definitely enjoyed my stay. If you are into nightlife this is the good place to stay. It was not quite at night but peaceful in early morning. So recommended this hotel for a short break to enjoy Madrid.

If your looking for the perfect place to stay during you time in Madrid, this is it.

Perfectly located in the centre of the city, very close to metro stations. All rooms are private, clean, and comfy.

The staff are fantastic. Your made to feel welcome and they can provide you with all the information you need to enjoy your time in Madrid.

We loved it. Great location, amazing people (laughed every time we ran into Diana because she is super social and funny. Her mother is super cool too!). We’ll definitely come back when we’re visiting Madrid again.
