Amazing meat & service. Steak tartar among the best we ever had! Seasonal starters also amazing (we had the mushroom one - setas in Spanish). We loved the recommendation for meat and the lemon pie dessert. If you enjoy red meat, this is a must-go restaurant in Madrid!

The restaurant created a very nice and warm atmosphere by using mostly wooden materials. The ambiance music was also pleasant, with a good selection of playlists.
The staff members were friendly, sufficient information was given in terms of meals and meat cuts and aging. Even the owner (I assume) stopped by my table several times and served one of the dishes.
They offered me two starters on the house, some sort of a chorizo and chicken liver pate. Both of them were tasty. Their butter bread was also delicious with a nice crust and soft and moist on the inside.
The first actual starter was a dish called mushroom. The portion was a bit small, mushrooms and bisque could be more tasty but still good.
The best dish was the calf sweetbread, cooked to perfection. The ratio between the soft part and crispy outer layer was perfect. I was advised to use a couple drops of lemon and this somehow gave a kick and balanced the fatty structure of sweetbread. Nice touch. Frankly speaking one of the best I've ever tried.
I tried a prime ribeye from Argentina. Cooked the way I ordered medium rare. I enjoyed the steak however it was hard to understand the size while you are selecting your cut :) I ordered something around 500g however it turned out 600g. That last 100g was too much for me :).
Two recommendations, the mushroom dish and grilled beet (side) were not at the same level as the rest of the dishes, they can be improved. More information can be shared about the dishes, how they are prepared, which ingredients are used, how they are aged and so on.
Overall quite an experience.
Yes it is expensive but it is a matter of choice.

This restaurant is perfect. Upon entering the staff ensures that you feel welcomed and taken care of. The lighting of this restaurant has carefully been designed and installed to ensure its focus on the right areas. The selecting of meat is truly overwhelming in every positive way possible and one of a kind. The owners are present and ensure the best of customer attention possible. Everything we ordered was fantastic, I cannot speak highly enough of the quality of food selection at this restaurant, the curated ambiance and the great service. This was my first time, but I will not come back to Madrid without making sure I have a reservation at this place.

If I could give Restaurante Lana a higher rating, I would! Everything was delicious, cooked to perfection, and the experience is absolutely unique. From being able to select your own piece of meat and the mini tour of the kitchen to the explanations provided and the whole experience - it is a completely different vibe. Highly, highly recommend. The sides were shareable as well as the pieces of meat and the dessert was to die for!

We received a few items as compliments of the Chef and they were delicious too. The attentiveness, customer care, food presentation - everything was wowing and unique.

We had our friends reunion here couple of weeks ago. What I cherish most from that day?! Their elegance and the charismatic way to make you feel fondled is immersive, they guide you throughout the presentation and you get to choose your favorite one. Very attentive service. To be honest my top favorite it was the salad. I am crazy for salads in general and they have one of the best ever tried. The dressing was Heaven! Didn’t take a pic of that cause it was too good and I completely forgot! The dessert was lovely as well. Thank you for having us.
