Wow! Tottori Sushi Bar is an absolute 10/10 restaurant - would 100% recommend to anyone who likes good Japanese food and I myself will definitely return in the future!

My wife and I had our first meal out since our daughter (15 days old) was born. From the moment we made the reservation, they were super accommodating with us, ensuring us a great spot in the covered terrace, a nice big table with space for the pushchair too.

Our waiter Erick was wonderful - extremely polite, charming and very knowledgeable about all of the food. We ordered the 65 euro tasting menu - an unbelievable array of delicious dishes, excellently varied and the portion sizes were good too (we left full, but not TOO full). Our favourite dish was the sashimi - the best sashimi we've ever had! And the presentation of all the dishes is excellent for Instagram too :).

We would like to thank everyone at Tottori Sushi Bar for making our first meal out as a family a special one.

I have visited Sushi Tottori four times now, and usually, the food is great, it is what kept me coming back. However, my recent visit on Sunday left me disappointed enough to decide this would be my last visit.

The restaurant seated us at 15:30, but from the moment we sat down, it felt like we were being rushed. The waiter pressured us to order quickly and made it clear they wanted us out by 16:30 when the restaurant closed. This turned an otherwise relaxing meal into a stressful experience, especially with the waiter practically pushing us out the door after we paid 65 euros per person for a small-portion menu.

On top of that, there were flies all over our table inside the restaurant, which made me question the hygiene standards here, it was very unpleasant and unappetizing. I told our waitress about it, and she did not even flinch by what I told her, without providing any solution for the issue.

Overall, it was bad service and overpriced for what we received.  If they can’t provide decent service close to closing time, maybe they shouldn’t offer tables at 15:30, especially in Spain, where lunch at this hour is the norm. Unfortunately, a disappointing experience, I will not be returning.

So good! The atmosphere and food are both elegant and comforting. Lots of creative, tasty dishes and desserts. Very attentive service.

📝Notes: I don’t know where to start, I really love EVERYTHING about this restaurant. The staff are very friendly and funny. The food is delicious and the presentation is spot on! I ordered the MENÚ 10 PASES and it was the best option for me. I highly recommend trying this restaurant out 🤩

The food was almost perfect except small little things like the rice of the nighiri’s was really undercook and cold, that you can taste mealy. But overall really good, especially the Otoro sashimi and the toro handroll with fresh wasabi and caviar to die for.
Service it’s where really lacking, the “maitre” should be more attentive to the costumer instead of his phone, beside asking us what to drink at the beginning and bring us just ONE plate didn’t do nothing, meanwhile the other guy did everything and was really kind but with some limitation like speaking and explaining the dishes in English(but at least he tried, and I know it’s not an obligation to speak another languages but if he have to it’s better to explain it right).
Atmosphere is well refined, modern, elegant but still cozy so it’s really nice to have a romantic dinner.

Recommend for the fresh sashimi(when available) with an affordable price for the dishes they offering.
