I fell in love with the bar as soon as I saw the photos, and I had to visit. The ambiance is magical, the staff is incredibly friendly, and we loved their selection of drinks and snacks. I don’t recommend coming in a group larger than 4, or make sure to contact them beforehand.
We had the Tequila Sunrise and also took some cheese and ham assortments as a snack. They also sell their own aqua de valencia drink bottled to take as a souvenir, which was delicious :)

This place is stunning! The interior is amazing! Unfortunately we could not sit inside because we had our dog with us, but we took a quick look at it and it was really beautiful. They have a few tables outside if you are visiting with your pet. The staff was very kind and friendly. We tried their famous agua de Valentia and it was good and refreshing. Their menu changes based on the time of the day, so make sure to check it if there is something specific you want to try.

I just drank a coffee on my 3rd day attempt (in the morning..and it was pretty empty). I tried 2 more times before that (in different days) but with no luck. Definitely need a booking for lunch or dinner.
The place is wonderful. Full of history and aristocratic vibe.

Pretty good for a quick stop. "Agua de Valencia" was interesting but too sweet for my taste. The bar is in the historic part of town and looked nice inside, but it was too crowded to enter. The staff wasn't very friendly, but they were quick to take and bring our order without missing anything. The only downside was that some dishes were not very clean. Overall, it's a good spot for a quick drink and a simple snack if you're in the mood.

Cafe De las Horas, has positioned itself as little sister to the grand European salons of the past. The decoration is very much over the top, it is glamorous and a little outrageous and no doubt appeals to the average tourist seeking the baroque and a little bit of camp.
And camp it is, from the waiting staff (a series of louche young men that Oscar Wilde would no doubt have pursued ardently) to the hushed soundtrack playing in the background.
But make no mistake, for all it's relaxed and faded glamour this is a business that is run along military lines: as soon as a table is vacated it is cleaned and the next party is seated and the drink order taken. One feels that you can stay as long as you have money to support your addiction to this glorious add nonsensical confection.
Do call in and try the Agua de Valencia - a speciality of the house.
Enjoy your time down the rabbit hole... just don't take it or yourself too seriously!
