We didn't have a reservation, but they accommodated us because there were only 2 of us Everything was great, from the welcome, to the pleasant and fun waiter (or maybe the owner, we don't know) Pleasant communication shows that it's important to them that you feel good, that your food is delicious, with a little humor.. Everything is moderate without the feeling that communication is being forced. Nicely decorated space, with pleasant music Rice with meat and mushrooms as recommended (we asked them to remove the truffles) excellent If we ever return to Alicante, we will definitely return to La Marmita I would give it 10, but there are only 5 stars to click ❤️
I almost forgot to mention the prices...rice for 2 people, 2 beers in bottle and 2 coffees with milk less than €40
We came from Croatia where we would pay at least double for such quality food and service

We had an absolutely AMAZING menú del día here! The banda de arroz (which was recommended by our fantastic waiter) was absolutely 🤌🤌! The service was top-notch, and the staff was incredibly friendly. Highly recommend this place!

A must visit if you’re in Alicante and want to try local dishes!

Genuinely the most exquisite food I have had in my time in Alicante, and my top 5 dinners I’ve ever had. We had the ham croquette and the prawns in chilli garlic oil to start, and they were beautifully done. You could taste how fresh the prawns were and the croquette had so much flavour. Both the starters were perfect! We were also given a nougat aioli with little bread sticks which is seriously addictive (if they started selling this in jars I would buy all of their stock). For mains we had the entrecote (ribeye) and solomillo (sirloin) which were both grilled to our exact requests. For dessert we had the horchata and chocolate dessert respectively. Again, fantastically done!

The decor and the hospitality make you feel at home, and the server (Fernando) was especially expedient and welcoming. Thank you so much for making last night a perfect night.

We were serviced by Roberto and that flawlessly. Food was beyond expectations and very reasonable prices. Atmosphere was elegant and chill. Such a great  restaurant!
