Det här stället är äckligt. Vi borde ha gått härifrån men eftersom vi är Engelska var vi för artiga för att göra det... Till skillnad från personalen här! Var börjar jag... Vi letade efter ett trevligt ställe att äta på min födelsedag och när vi gick längs denna gata, en man accosted oss att gå till denna restaurang. Vi satte oss och tittade på menyn. Det borde ha gett oss en ledtråd om platsens tillstånd. Det fanns saker till på menyn som var absolut ingen mening "Nålar" och "Näsor" för att nämna ett par av de bisarra val. Vi beställde två ryggbiffar från den eländiga överviktiga servitrisen som såg riktigt glad ut att servera oss (inte). Jag bad om min sällsynta, min partner, medium sällsynta. De tog vår väns beställning som var exakt densamma, ryggbiff. Medan vi väntade dök plötsligt en annan ung kvinna upp vid bordet från en annan restaurang och bad att få ta emot vår beställning. Vi sa till henne tre gånger att vi redan hade beställt men inte berätta vad eftersom det inte fanns något behov. Vår "mat" anlände. Min partner och jag fick de minsta "sirloins" vi någonsin sett, kokta blå. De såg mer ut som filébiff. De var täckta av salt och en handfull otäcka, frysta steak cut chips följde med köttet. Inget annat, inga grönsaker, ingenting. Priset på menyerna, som det fanns två, bara för att förvirra oss, skilde sig också. På den ena menyn var priset 48 € och på den andra 22 € . Vår väns biff kom och såg helt annorlunda ut. . En stor, platt bit segt kött med samma, motbjudande chips. Vi sa till servitrisen att beställningen var fel. Hon fortsatte sedan att argumentera med oss att det inte var det. Då kom den unge, som inte hade tagit emot vår beställning, till bordet och argumenterade också att vi hade beställt det som fanns på våra tallrikar. Oförskämd började inte ens beskriva utbytet! Jag visade dem Google translate med exakt vad vi hade beställt när de fortsatte att argumentera med oss. De sa att vi hade beställt vad de hade gett oss och sedan blev ganska aggressiva om innan de hoppade av. Vi övervägde att bara gå upp och gå men det fanns ett antal manliga servitörer med ögonen stirrande på oss och de såg ut som de skulle slå oss om vi vågade försöka gå utan att betala. Det var chockerande. Vi åt inte upp maten (chipsen var oätliga) och vi kände oss skrämda av personalen. Ät inte här alls. Vidrigt.

På en vacker och mycket varm augusti natt min tvillingbror och jag utforskade runt den underbara Gamla stan i Benidorm när vi bestämde oss för att släppa in i Bar La Abuela Gallega, varit här tidigare på tidigare semestrar till denna soldränkta resort, alltid haft en bra tid och så bevisade det på vårt senaste besök. En snygg tapabar, interiören är superb, glasfrontade serveringsdiskar visar upp godsaker som erbjuds, bra inredning och möbler och gott om sittplatser spridda över hela denna tapabar både inne och ute tittar ut på de livliga och livliga gatorna som utgör Gamla stan i Benidorm, är en underbar plats att varva ner i. Vi satt utanför där vi beställde flaskor öl från Higos De Rivera Brewery ( Estrella Galicia ) och dessa serverades i utmärkt skick och var iskall och mousserande och åtföljd av en välsmakande tapamåltid som var utsökt och mycket uppskattad. Ett stort fan av denna mest kända spanska öl, en gyllene, lätt och humle lagerstil öl som sprudlar av smak och mycket lätt att dricka speciellt när den serveras iskall som i denna tapabar, det var bara så bra att vara i en sådan härlig bar och njuta av en kvalitetsbryggning och satt med min tvillingbror, bästa ölsällskapet i världen. Vi båda njöt verkligen av våra öl här innan vi gick vidare och även om vårt besök var bara flyktigt som på alla andra besök till här hade vi en bra tid, det är en bar lätt att hitta längs Calle De Rosari, en gata och område kryllar av pubar, barer, kaféer och restauranger. Väl värt att kolla in om du är i Gamla stan i Benidorm.
