Great service and the food was the best I have tasted in my 5 days
in Spain. Each serving came with an explanation of the local customs associated with the product. Starters wonderful.  Hake and pork ribs magnificent! Opens at 8  closes 10.30, book in advance. It is very popular!

We recently visited Los Ferros, a restaurant in the Basque Country, for dinner and opted for the full €64 p/p tasting menu for two. While the experience had some highlights, it ultimately left us disappointed.

The building itself is lovely, and the service was excellent. Our server truly elevated the atmosphere, offering great advice on wine and thoroughly explaining the dishes. Unfortunately, the food did not live up to the expectations set by its Michelin recommendation.

The dishes were just okay—nothing memorable or exceptional—and the presentation was underwhelming, especially considering the price. The portions were minimal, which is acceptable if you’re offering a small-bites experience, but in that case, the ingredients should be of supreme quality. Sadly, this wasn’t the case. For instance, if you consider potato, onion, and lettuce to be a complete meal, this might suffice, but for us, it fell short.

While the service was excellent, the overall dining experience was disappointing.

Not wowed at all. Cod croquettes mostly batter. Shrimp they are known for is average. Peppers and soup good. Service okay though I know they were busy. Price was nice. Overall though, enjoyable but would never go back.

Great spot in Bilbao! Food was super tasty, and the staff was awesome. One of the servers introduced us to a local drink "kalimotxo" which we are now obsessed with. Loved the pork rib, peppers, croquettes, and cheesecake.

This was the best meal we had in our few days in Bilbao...the pork rib was just excellence on a bone.  It is only pork rib - there was bread as a side, but don't expect any vegetables.  I was delighted anyway.

Really good croquetas, decent wine, respectable prices...oh and the white chocolate cheesecake was just superb.  Leave room for it...don't order any vegetables, perhaps.
