Great location, staff, and smart rooms. We enjoyed our stay! Will need to visit during the summer when the rooftop terrace and pool are open as views are fantastic from up there. Took off a star as parking is ridiculously expensive at 40 euros a night. It was the most expensive in all of our travels across France and Spain.

**"BAD: Beware of the 'Upgrade'"**

Our priority when booking was the room size and budget, so we reserved a 32m² City View room.

At check-in, the hotel staff offered us an "upgrade." He said that for an additional €25 per day, we could "upgrade," so we agreed.

However, while the room did have a Sea View, the size was downgraded to just 21m². I told them that paying €25 to have a smaller room was a downgrade, but they insisted that the view had been upgraded.

I asked to be moved back to the room we originally booked, but the staff ignored my request for an entire day.

Let me ask you this: if you went to see a new landscape, and the view changed, how would you describe it? You wouldn’t say the landscape itself was "upgraded," would you? You’d say the view was different or better.

The following day, I finally got a response from the staff. They told me I’d need to pay an additional €70 per day if I wanted a 32m² Sea View room.

While the hotel facilities and scenery are excellent, the staff are focused entirely on business and seem to aim to squeeze every extra euro from their guests.

In the end, we ended up paying the €25.

My husband and I loved this hotel. The location is perfect to walk and explore the Old Town. Our room was beautiful, clean, and spacious. The bathroom had heated floors and a smart toilet which was wonderful. The bed (especially pillows) was so big and comfortable. We slept great. The weather was terrible so we didn’t get to go to the rooftop but we look forward to going when we visit again in a warmer month. Thank you to the staff who were all amazing!

Everything about this property is wonderful. The housekeeping staff is thorough each day. The location is perfect. Don’t miss the rooftop and downstairs restaurant as both are wonderful. The staff is excellent. A quality stay at every turn.

This is a luxury hotel perfectly situated in the old town and overlooking the harbour with it's array of small boats. The view across the bay is superb.
The rooms are well furnished to a high standard including the Japanese toilet! Staff on reception and porterage were really helpful. A lovely place to stay.
