Historical thalasso centre with many facilities and the option to jump into the sea after a visit to the saunas. Pools are big and so is the crowd. Make sure you reserve online, this place gets packed - especially in the mornings / at weekend.

It's a pity that the owners of this building don't put more effort in the maintenance of the premises: imagine loose mosaics and dirty spots in the corners.

Still a fun visit, but there are better options elsewhere in Spain.

My friend and I went to La Perla Spa/Pool area for an afternoon of relaxation on our second day in San Sebastián. It has two levels of pools and spas, and wet and dry saunas. The pools were really lovely and refreshing, and we mostly spent time in the Jacuzzi which faces out for an amazing view of the bay. We had an amazing relaxing nap on the water beds.

I think in Australia we have high expectations for hot springs / spas because we have so many nice ones, especially being from Melbourne. The bathroom facilities in La Perla are probably more comparable to a public pool in Australia. I would suggest bringing thongs for the showers. The staff were friendly, but don’t speak English, so we would recommend booking before hand online for a smooth check in. On a weekday it is cheaper to book for 2 hours for €26 and then pay another €2.5 per half an hour extra. We spent time napping and reading our books and used every pool and you probably don’t need more than 3 hours.
Also, you have to buy a swimming cap, you can rent towels.
Overall, it was a nice experience and relaxing, but not necessarily a “luxury” experience.

it's a nice place, but i expected a more fancy place somehow for all the advertising. It has jacuzzi, sauna, water beds, it was fun. you can't wear sandals and that made me feel very uncomfortable, you can catch anything in that floor! The view from the jacuzzi to the beach is really nice. I felt my eyes itchy and skin really dry since the water is sea salty water. So it has a lot of pros and cons, I would say 3 stars is what it deserves

Really lovely experience. I tried a little Spanish but the team had much better skills in English. Managed to leave my shower cap in my hotel room but was sold one at a very reasonable price and hired a towel. Well worth the money and 2 hours well spent floating around and relaxing. Service was excellent. Whole experience easy and I left with a smile.

From the UK on a weekend break, myself and my husband visited the spa yesterday and we both thought it was really good. The staff were lovely, really helpful and friendly. The spa was really lovely, it was on 2 levels with 2 really good hydrotherapy pools, a jacuzzi, dry and wet saunas, underwater bikes and cross trainers. It was a great way to spend 2 hours especially as it was a cloudy day. We both then had massages which were also really good. It wasn’t too expensive as we had a discount from the hotel that we were staying at. I would highly recommend.
