I cannot fathom all of these positive reviews based on what we experienced today. What we were served does not correspond at all to the quality of the pictures here, maybe most of those are for eating downstairs. My steak was poorly trimmed and had a lot of tendon and gristle, my wife’s burger had a strange consistency and was lacking salt. Croquetas were fine. Food wasn’t terrible, just average. What made the experience terrible however was the treatment of our waitress. Incredibly rude and short, acting impatient with us as we ordered. By far the worst meal I’ve had in San Sebastián and the worst meal on this whole trip to Spain. A stark contrast to our meal last night at Ganbara where we were treated like family.

One of the best places to have some lunch on Sundays.
Apart from the fact that most other places are closed, this establishment serves some delicious pinchos, tapas and meals.

Always busy & cosy but accommodated us 3 times for delicious lunch , dinner and breakfast..  the fish, zamburinias & chuleton are divine.. Great price quality ratio.
