In short, don't bother. My review refers to the vegetarian tasting menu experience with wine pairing, which was €120 for food plus €95 for wine pairing. It was an utterly underwhelming experience from start to finish.

Food: Really terrible. Every dish was bland, boring, and unimaginative. There were a couple of dishes we didn't even want to finish because they were almost hilariously bad; a small bowl of dry roasted quinoa and a plate of hot, wet salty lettuce were the worst offenders. A lot of what we were served was clearly slightly altered components of the meat/fish tasting menu, which is fine in theory, but when you take something out you need to put something back in, namely flavour. However, our friend who had the meat/fish tasting menu enjoyed all their food.

Service: The staff were friendly, but it felt like we were being served by inexperienced teenagers doing their first holiday jobs. There was no attempt made to explain the meal we were eating of the wine we were being served.

Atmosphere: The view is undeniable, but the atmosphere in the restaurant is so odd. The lights are bright white overhead spotlights which are turned up high all night. The restaurant does not feel at all luxurious or romantic.

Drinks: The wine served was fine - good quality wines. There was no explanation of what we were drinking other than a quick glance at the bottle. The dessert wine was served in a champagne flute. The sparkling water is clearly carbonated on site and was unpleasantly flat.

Mirador de Ulía should stop offering a vegetarian menu until they are prepared to put some effort into it.

This place is on the Michelin recommend guide but I don’t know why. As a regular at Michelin restaurants around the world, we know what to expect but glad this place doesn’t make the grade ( in our opinion ).

On a positive note, the place is stunning, with views to die for. The staff were great but not upto Michelin standards. Thou with a little more training they could be. The venue lacked an experience Sommelier, hence we had to determine which wine to pair with our various dishes as we opted not to do the wine pairing. One tip, offer a wine menus in English.

Where improvements are need to bring it up to Michelin standard were;

They failed to issue us with a tasting menu was presented to us, making it difficult to follow the dining experience as we had no reference to the journey. We also noticed that various staff had various degree of knowledge of the dishes. I think we should training they could improve that.

The tasting menu itself was too fish heavy with only one plate offering a non fish main ingredient. The dishes were presented well, but nothing special. Each dish tasted similar to the next. The only non fish dish was duck, which thou above average  was not consistent, what I mean is that some got a leg, others got a breast.

Our party had two vegetarians and one vegan. The overall feedback was the dishes were presented well, but again lack imagination and many simply tasted the same.

This place has so much potential if they take simply take a look at their menu and consider searching for a chef with the imagination the venue deserves. At the price point, their have some work to do.

Overall we give this venue 3/5.

This was by far the best dining experience I ever had. Not because of the great food or great service, but merely because the lack of it. It was like being in a Fawlty Towers episode. We laughed our eyes out togheter with another couple in the restaurant. Service was so sweet and so good hearted and trying, but it was clear there was no training whatsoever prior service. Props for the newly acquired sommelier though, he was standing out by far and was extremely well mannered and friendly. I hope he gets a great career after he lets this restaurant behind him.
I can tell you here so much about all the events that happened this night but if i write it here you will think it’s a joke. This is something you have to experience yourself. If  you go here, don’t expect good food and service, expect an amazing dinner show a la fawlty towers and enjoy the amazing view, and look at the 10 courses as a medium movie snack. Snacks in a movie theatre are also very overpriced.
Highly recommended if you don’t take yourself and edible food too seriously. Highly recommended if you don’t  mind spending 400 euros for a good view. Now it’s time to get some fast food because we are still hungry.

Ah and if you have an allergy or don’t eat fish at all, maybe stay away.

I really wanted to love this restaurant especially since it was my first Michelin experience, but it was just ok.  We got the regular tasting and the vegetarian tasting menu. We saw reviews and photos of the dishes previously so we were very excited to try them however not sure if the menu had changed or they ran out of products but the food was very different and lacked a lot of creativity and flavor, especially for the vegetarian menu. The beet salad had no seasoning at all. Many of the vegetarian meals were simply the side dishes of the regular plates. The tomato was great, that’s the most memorable. However spending 130$ for the vegetarian menu seemed like a rip off with what was given unfortunately.  I was expecting a lot more. The service was ok, slow to bring out the food (3-3.5 hours for dinner and that’s with us rushing them towards the end) however they did treat us very nicely and with respect. I think this place has a lot of potential, great views and atmosphere, nice staff (would be even better with a little more training) I’d just recommend to pay some extra attention to the vegetarian menu, serve the food faster, have a little more organization between the staff and im sure the restaurant will thrive.
