We had a lunch at A Xanela Gastronomica in mid-April. The booking took some time as their booking page on TheFork does not offer any open slot. Finally one of my colleagues helped us by booking on the phone (the waiter’s English is basic). A very homey place, relaxed, visited only by locals. The food is superb, try the duck lever and the beef taco.

Wow a gastronomic experience. Amazing food well presented,  good size portions and great service.  Did not expect to find this fine dining here making the most of galician produce and transforming it into something sublime.  Everything we ate was fantastic and the wine was also excellent.

Amazing place! If you like to taste new things and try a new culinary experience this is the right place. A chef-driven restaurant with a galician-influenced modern cuisine that will surprise you with everything: starters, main courses and even desserts. Every meal is cooked with detail and care and  you can tell as when looking through the wide window that leads your sight to an well organized neat kitchen. Price: it's not cheap (if compared to local restaurants) but the price is worth every single bite.
Waiters are very kind, helpful and they will usually give you a brief description of your meal so that you can better enjoy it.

Definitely, a must in this area!
