Really enjoyed being educated on the history of alicante. As stated by other reviews particularly the English description was very limited, so I had to use Google lens to translate the information.

Easily could spend up to 2 hours in and was really glad we visited here before going to the castle!

I've seen many archeological museums in many countries and normally quite boring and same, but these one deserves complements:  very interactive, big videoscreens, lights and live exponates mixed with old artifacts, together with nice music background and etc.  The only one thing is missing, indeed there is not so much information in English, so either take an audioguide or if you speak English you will guess the main names and times,
although not the details.  Still one of the highlights of Alicante city.

We saw exhibition Dynasty and it was really great. Apart from that there is regular exhibition that is really comprehensive. Plan at least two hours to visit complete museum

Absolutely loved the museum!
There is so much to see. We booked to see the terracotta warriors, and that was fabulous.  I wasn't really expecting much because of the price to go in, but I was really impressed. The exhibition exceeded my expectations, wasn't crowded, and had lots of information to read.
The rest of the museum is free and well worth a visit in its own right. We loved it.

Brilliant museum lots of interesting things to learn the only downside is if you don't speak Spanish you will have to use Google's lense to translate as the English description is one line.
