Fantastisk resturant på alla sätt. Maten läcker speciellt mango kyckling. Mycket hemtrevlig trevlig atmosfär. Service som tillhandahålls mycket uppmärksam. Besökte resturant 3 nätter i rad varje måltid utmärkt. Kommer att vara tillbaka vid återkomsten till Calpe .

Ännu en underbar måltid på The Sailor. Vi gick med vänner. Jag gillar min biff tillagad annorlunda än min partner och det andra paret är samma. Så igår kväll parade vi ihop oss med dem för att beställa två fantastiska chateaubriands, en medium och en well done. De var båda tillagade perfekt, vilade mycket väl och serveras med läckra grönsaker. Kocken i denna restaurang lagar kött och biffar extremt bra. Vi blir aldrig besvikna. Servicen från familjen som äger restaurangen är alltid mycket vänlig och välkomnande. Vi älskar att åka dit.

Allround utmärkt service och mat, vi hade lamm med portvinssås och nötköttsbiff med pepparkornssås, och laxtartartar maten är fin matnivå och fantastisk.

Vi älskar denna familjeägda restaurang. Man och hustru team utanför med sin utbildade kock son i köket. Maten är starkt influerad av det franska och belgiska köket samt Spanien. Den här gången åt vi mangokyckling och en biff toppad med gåslever. Biffen tillagades perfekt. Medel sällsynt, men inte en droppe blod. Mycket väl utvilad. Jag har också ätit skaldjursgratängen tidigare och den är jättegod också. Rekommenderar starkt denna restaurang.

Vi slog oss ihop för att äta på Sailor i Calpe. En trevlig hälsning ett trevligt bord för att förbereda vårt parti av 6 för Buillabaisse med hummer otroligt, biffar vackra, Lax utsökt. Den hade en wow-faktor som särskiljer den. Jag har inte provat alla restauranger i Calpe eftersom jag bara har bott här i 20 år men den här hoppade bara till toppen av mitt träd. Det kommer inte att bryta banken men kvaliteten på maten ligger före spelet med ett familjeägt företag av proffs som gör ett jobb som skiljer dem från mängden. Jag är mer än glad att lägga till detta till min elitlista över restauranger av verklig kvalitet och värde i Calpe. Vi förlorade nyligen en stor skaldjursrestaurang i staden så det är bra att veta att det finns en ersättare som kan göra allt det och servera ett komplett utbud av utsökt mat mycket väl tillagad av en familj som vet hur. Jag förstår John och Dianne är av spansk anständighet och deras son är trollkarlen i köket som skapar magin så vi är säkra på att hålla denna i favoritlistan för boende och besökare

Kallas in utan bokning och vi kunde få ett bord för två inga problem, beställde lamm medaljonger (rack av lamm) som tillagades till perfektion för mig bra gjort, så glad att vi inte beställde en förrätt lammet och grönsaker var gott. När vi återvände följande vecka kunde inte komma förbi lamm medaljonger och återigen helt rätt på läckra. Maken åt rossinibiff och sa att det var det bästa han någonsin smakat. Kan inte vänta med att återvända till denna härliga restaurang nästa gång vi besöker Cape.

Första natten i Sailor utmärkt service, utmärkt mat. Bra urval. Återvände igen, satt utan förvarning om hur lång väntan på mat skulle vara. Order tagen snabbt så ingen aning om att vi skulle vara ungefär en timme utan förrätt, ifrågasatt när det skulle vara, fick veta snart. Den kom och min man frågade hur lång huvudrätten skulle vara, svarade med en axelryckning. (Tänk inte ovänligt bara inte visste) . Vi ställde in huvudrätten. Ägaren kom över och vi förklarade tiden väntan var inte acceptabel, han lyssnade förklarade de var mycket upptagen, som vi svarade han borde ha förklarat när han satt oss / eller sa att det inte fanns något utrymme. Det var inga problem att avbryta. Översynen baseras på de 2 besöken om den på det första skulle ha varit högre. Jag skulle rekommendera att kontrollera tid vänta innan du beställer.
